In the apostle’s creed, we say “I believe in the resurrection of the body.” This is a very important Christian doctrine that is essential to understand. Salvation does not only involve our souls–it involves our whole person, and thus our bodies as well. If we neglect this truth, we will only have a partial view of our salvation. Thus, the future resurrection of our bodies, called “glorification,” is important, very real. To now neglect this truth is to neglect one of the central doctrines of the Bible and Christian faith. The apostle Paul himself  maintained that the Lord’s resurrection is Heaven’s guarantee that we too shall be raised. Jesus will give us all the complete Victory by Him..

Christians, know that we are not saved by our own good deeds and righteous works, but by the Love and mercy of God. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross to suffer for our sins; and if we believe on Jesus and accept Him as Lord into our hearts, we are forgiven.-

And, as John 3:36 promises, “He that believes on the Son of God has Everlasting Life”! “For it is given unto men once to die, and after this the Judgement”–Hebrews 9:27. But God will send you straight to Hell and later the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, because you had personally rejected Jesus as God and his plan of Salvation for you. He who willfully and rebelliously hardens their heart and completely rejects the Lord’s mercy and Salvation, is worthy of Hell! Jesus said, “He that rejects Me and receives not My Word has one that judges him: The Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the Last Day!”–John 12:48. Hell, the eternal Lake of Fire, “Gehenna”, burning with fire and brimstone, “where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched”.–The place where the wicked and damned Christ-rejecters suffer torment.–Mark 9:43-44 and Revelation 21:8, 14:9-11. Yes all those who do not believe in Jesus, upon the moment of death, are immediately tossed into this terrible Lake of Fire! That such a Hell exists, there can be no doubt!

Prior to God’s coming on earth as Jesus most people went to the grave, “Hades” which literally means “the unseen state” or “the unseen world”.– In the Hebrew of the Old Testament, the word invariably translated as “Hell” the original Hebrew word used, “Sheol”, also means “the unseen state”, or the Spirit World. Jesus Himself, while spending three days and nights in the heart of the Earth between His crucifixion and His resurrection, also spend His time “preaching unto the spirits in prison” . 1 Peter 3:18-20 says, “Christ suffered for our sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. For which cause He also went and preached to the spirits in prison; Which long ago were disobedient, when once God waited patiently in the days of Noah.” The believers and their bodes next went to Heaven with Jesus.

1 Peter 4:5-6 goes on to say, “God is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this cause was the Gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged just like men (living) in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit!” Think of it! Jesus spent three days in the belly of the Earth, down where the spirits of the unsaved dead were imprisoned, and He “preached the Gospel to them”! “Gospel” means “Good News”–the Good News of their Salvation! Some of them had been waiting there since the days of Noah, for thousands of years! Revelation 20:12,15 say: “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And if any man was not found written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire.” (And remember, the Great White Throne Judgement is only for those who were not saved in life. Those who received Jesus in this life and had died will be in Heaven already. 2 Corinthians 5: : 1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Since the Bible is  not solely  symbolic book or a highly symbolic book, how can we be sure that hell is a literal place?  The Bible is not just a symbolic book, much less a “highly” symbolic one, that is a false premise. Yes, the Bible offers some symbolism, as do most writings of men, but most of the Bible deals with history—the history of man’s relationship to his Creator. God and His plan. As He reveals these things to us, He sometimes uses symbolism, but this doesn’t make the Bible a symbolic book. It is simply a book that contains some symbolism. When the Bible uses symbolism, it is quite obvious. Jesus once said, “I am the door.” (John 10:9) That statement cannot possibly be taken literally, so it must be taken as symbolism. He also said, “I am the good shepherd.” (John 10:14) Jesus wasn’t literally a shepherd, His followers aren’t literally sheep, and literal wolves (John 10:12) are not a threat to Christians. Those are symbolic terms because they can’t be literal. Hell, on the other hand, is literal. The term “hell” occurs 54 times in the Bible, and never once is it impossible for the word to be taken literally. Take the first occurrence, for instance, which is Deuteronomy 32:22: “For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.”

The Bible even states plainly that hell presently is in the center of the earth, or at least under the earth’s crust. (Deu. 32:22) speaks of the “lowest” hell in connection with “the earth” and the “foundations of the mountains.” Thirteen separate times the Bible uses the words “hell” and “down” in the same verse. II Peter 2:4 speaks of hell’s location when speaking of the angels that sinned against God: “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.” Hell is down, according to the Bible. Amos 9:2 says, “Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down.” Isaiah’s prophecy concerning Lucifer says, “Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” (Isa. 14:15)

Why do some teach that hell is the grave? The real reason is that most of them are on their way to hell and they falsely do hope it isn’t what the Bible says it is. The fact is that the grave contains no fire, yet the hell of the Bible does: “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” (Luke 16:23-24) “But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.” (Mat. 5:22) “And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.” (James 3:6) Clearly, the Lord could not have intended for us to understand hell to be the grave in these verses because the hell in these verses contains fire, yet the common grave does not. In fact, the words “hell” and “grave” are never found in the same Bible verse, yet “hell” and “fire” occur in eight separate verses! And no one speaks from the grave, yet, in Luke 16:24, the rich man actually speaks from the fires of hell. All indications are that he has all of his natural senses. This is not so with a person in the grave. Plus hell, according to the Lord Jesus (Mat. 25:41), was originally prepared for the devil and his angels. This is not so with the grave. It is not only one’s body that goes to the grave at death, but also one’s soul. The Christian, in death, is said to be “absent from the body” and “present with the Lord” (II Cor. 5:8). The body of the Christian Initially goes to the grave like the body of anyone else, yet the Bible declares that the Christian himself (in distinction from his body) goes to be with the Lord. So, there is a separate dwelling place other than the grave. Jesus said “it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.” (Mat. 18:9)

Why did God create hell?

.

As per Matthew 25:41, God originally created hell for “the devil and his angels.” In the very beginning, it was not God’s intention for any man to suffer the torments of sin, hell, separation from God but then man used his free will and chooses to follow the way of Satan even as per (Gen. 3). So men and women do  h choose freely to Go to hell as a result, even if one  claims he doe  not believe in Hell.

How could a loving God send a person to hell? The statement that “God is love,” from I John 4:8, is an undeniably true statement, but it is also true that the rest of the Bible is also true and there is more to God than just being a God of love. God has many attributes, not just love, and He never intended for us to falsely define Him as love only. God is also just as much a God of justice as He is a God of love. In fact, the Bible’s greatest love verse, John 3:16, wouldn’t even be in the Bible if God were not a God of justice. “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Deuteronomy 32:4 says, “He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.” It was God’s attribute of justice that required a sin payment to be made at Calvary. God is love, yes, but God is also not only love. He is also Holy, without Sin. Psalm 89:14 says, “Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.” Job 8:3 says, “Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

The reality of life one earth, Nature clearly displays Hell, separation from God, even the fact that God allows suffering. Romans 8:18-22: “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”

Deuteronomy 32:22: “For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.” Peter walked side by side with Jesus for over three years, but that didn’t keep him from sounding the warning of II Peter 3:7: “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” There are other examples that could be presented, but one more will suffice. Jesus Himself, the One who gave us that great love verse, John 3:16, later said, “And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” (Mark 9:43-48)

Revelation 14:11 says, “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Everlasting smoke comes from everlasting fire, and the inhabitants of this everlasting fire of Hell are people who “have no rest.”

Revelation 20:11-15 records the final judgment of lost people, and one can see that perfect justice is rendered to every man: “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Twice this passage of Scripture tells us that men are judged “according to their works.” Then those whose names are not found in the “book of life” will be cast into the “lake of fire.”

Proverbs 24:12 says, “If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?”

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Matthew 23:14: “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.” These religious hypocrites do not receive the only damnation, but rather the greater damnation. In Matthew 11:24, Jesus said, “But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.”

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Rev. 21:8)

Scriptures do even reveal that hell’s inhabitants remember very well their earthly lives and loved ones. In Luke 16:25, Abraham says to the rich man in hell, “Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.” He would not have told this man to “remember” if he no longer had a memory. The passage then goes on to tell us that he did, indeed, remember: “Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.” (Luke 16:27-28) All things will be made new for those who are saved (Rev. 21:5), but nothing is made new for those who find themselves condemned to everlasting fire. They will remember everything—forever. Luke 16 indicates that a person goes to hell immediately after dying. Verse 22 says that “the rich man also died, and was buried.” Then the very next verse beings with the words “And in hell he lift up his eyes . . .” There was no intermediate state, no interval, between death and hell. Just as a Christian is absent from the body and present with the Lord after dying (II Cor. 5:8), the lost person is absent from the body and present in hell after dying. By the time his funeral is preached, he has already been in hell two or three days. God wants you in heaven, not in hell. II Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”  God wants you to turn from your sins by turning to Jesus Christ and receiving Him as your Lord and Saviour. Jesus is your only hope for escaping the flames of hell.

Isaiah 1:18 says, “Come now, let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

.

All men are sinners and need to be cleansed from sin (Rom. 3:23), and that cleansing can only come through the precious Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ (Rev. 1:5; Col. 1:14).

Consider the words of the Apostle Paul: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

.

Your only way to Heaven is through the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:13 says, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Why not turn to Him right now? Turn from your sins! Claim His promises and trust Him to save you while there’s still time. Tomorrow may be too late.

The New Testament Scripture also  tell us that our full salvation is still in the future: Salvation is a two-part process.
.

Conversion – when we repent of our sin, accept Jesus as our Savior, and the Holy Spirit dwells in our heart. The Bible states that at this point a person is saved. No amount of good works or keeping the Old Testament Law, can convert a person. It is only available by grace through faith in Jesus alone. And  it is not until the Judgment Day that we receive eternal security that can never be lost.

Our full Salvation and redemption – We receive our full Salvation on Judgment Day when the sheep are separated from the goats, and Jesus says that we may enter into Heaven. We are saved from eternal punishment in Hell for our sins.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

On Judgment day, can a person who at one point became a Christian still next go to Hell?  Notice how the “once saved, always saved” theory does not line up with the last verse. There is a qualification to a Christian not having condemnation: if he walks (lives) not after the flesh but after the Spirit. It does matter what we do and how we live here on earth..

Matthew 25:26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27    Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28    Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. 29    For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. 30    And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of thee.

If you willfully do continue to sin, cheat, lie, steal, abuse others, lust, commit adultery, get drunk, misbehave, etc., you can expect to go to Hell next still..

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. 14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. 15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. The Great Commission of preaching the Gospel  itself now has two parts: evangelism and discipleship. It is important that we witness to people about Jesus but also now tell  them accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. After they accept Christ, it is equally important that they do  to do everything that Jesus has commanded us in the Bible to do, to remain faithful, and live in obedience to Christ the rest of their lives, to be  ready to meet Christ when He comes so he can take them home.

The Supremacy of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the supreme Sovereign of the universe. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

The most important decision that you can make in your life is what will I do with Jesus Christ? Accept him as Lord of my whole life or reject him? No decision is a decision in itself, it means you have wrongfully rejected him.

“Colossians 1:15-20 gives seven reasons why Christ is preeminent. These verses are at the heart of the epistle’s main emphasis on the exaltation and preeminence of Christ.

Jesus Christ “is the image of the invisible God” (v. 15). Jesus is supreme because of His relationship with God the Father. He is the perfect resemblance and representation of God. God is invisible and unknown except by self-revelation. In the person of Jesus Christ the unknowable God becomes known.. The very nature and being of God have been perfectly revealed in Christ.   Jesus said, “Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:9). Everyone who saw Christ, the visible manifestation of the invisible God, has thereby “seen” God indirectly. The apostle John who saw Jesus face to face wrote, “No one has ever seen God, but God the only Son . . . has made Him known” (v. 18). Jesus Christ is the perfect visible representation and manifestation of the “invisible” God (1 Tim. 1:17). Jesus is the perfect image, likeness and glory of His Father. He is “the exact representation” of the Father’s being (Heb. 1:3). The Son is in the “exact likeness” of His Father.

Jesus is supreme over all things because He is “the firstborn over all creation” (Col. 1:15). He preceded the whole creation, and He is Sovereign over all His creation. As Creator He has dignity, supremacy, sovereign power over it. As “firstborn” Jesus is the Messiah-God (Ps. 89:27-29). Jesus Christ was not created, but is the Creator who is Sovereign over all His creation.

Jesus is supreme because “in Him all things were created” (Col. 1:16-17). “All things were created by Him,” and “for Him,” and “in Him they all hold together.” Not only is He the final Cause of creation, but also the conserving Cause that keeps it together. Everything in the universe continues to exist because of Him (Jn. 1:3; Heb. 1:2; Rev. 3:14). Nothing is to be excluded in His supremacy in creation. Christ reigns supreme over all creation, visible and invisible, material and spiritual (Eph. 1:21; 3:10; 6:12; Phil. 2:9-10; Col. 2:10, 15; Rom. 8:38-39).

Jesus Christ is supreme because He is head of His church (Col. 1:18; Eph. 1:22-23; 5:23). Paul has in mind the invisible body of Christ into which every believer was baptized by the Holy Spirit when he believed in Christ as his Savior (1 Cor. 12:13; Gal. 3:28; Eph. 2:15; 3:4-5; Col. 1:26).

Jesus is supreme because He is “the firstborn from among the dead” (Col. 1:18; Rev. 1:5). Christ rose from the dead never to die again (1 Cor. 15:20). His resurrection marked His triumph and supremacy over death forever. Jesus “was declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead” (Rom. 1:4). He lives for all eternity “on the basis of the power of an indestructible life” (Heb. 7:16). Because He lives He is given preeminence and supremacy over all creation. He is exalted over all creation by God the Father “to the highest place” and has been given “the name that is above every name . . . to the glory of God the Father” (Phil. 2:9-11). There is no name like the name of Jesus. He is the Sovereign God of all because He rose from the dead.

Moreover, He is supreme because “all the fullness dwells in Him” (Col. 1:19). “All the fullness of the Father pleased to dwell in Him.” In Christ Jesus God in all His fullness was pleased to take up His bode. The Divine nature in all its fullness dwells in Christ. Phillips translates, “It was in Him that the full nature of God chose to live.” Another way of saying it is, “For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form” (2:9). “Fullness” means “completeness.” Paul says the full and complete deity dwells, abides permanently, and supremely in Jesus Christ. He is the absolute and perfect God.

Jesus Christ is also supreme because we have peace with God through His blood (Col. 1:19-23). He has reconciled “all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven” (v. 20). Jesus is supreme because He is the Reconciler. Through Him God reconciles sinful man to Himself. “For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life” (Rom. 5:10). We have received reconciliation through Jesus Christ. Peace has been made through His blood. We were alienated, strangers, cut off from God, and the blood of Jesus has reconciled us to the Father. Our reconciliation is appropriated through faith in Christ. God is not reconciled to us; we are reconciled to Him by Jesus Christ.

Such preeminence and supreme exaltation of Jesus Christ should cause us to spontaneously break forth in praise, adoration and worship of our great Savior from now throughout eternity.”

Now the Holy Spirit  will guide and lead us in all truth, lead us to Jesus, convict us of sin, righteousness and JUDGMENT even by USING THE WORD OF GOD , and as to some persons saying now that the Holy Spirit’s main purpose being here is to  to help, empower us to live personally a holy life, and where is the NEW TESTAMENT SPECIFIC verse for that?
 
There is no better description of the purpose of Pentecost,  than this text. (Acts 1:8 KJV)  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Since THE HOLY Spirit Baptism is a true entry into the will, and the holiness of God. The coming of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus Christ, upon us is to enable us also to live, no longer for ourselves but for Him, our Father God! The whole of the Acts of the Apostles confirms this, describing well what Pentecost meant in practice, namely, obtaining the PERSONAL inner experience of God’s love, and the outward ability to live it, to share it in  steadfast ways, to help others as well.  Our personal Salvation and Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit himself, his empowerment to do great things,  are the first indwelling and permanent Gifts that real Christians do receive. (Luke 10:20 KJV)  Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. We become “sons and daughters” of God and  a “new creation” (2 Cor. 5:17) states clearly  we become “sons and daughters of God” and “co-heirs with Jesus Christ” (Rom. 8:15-17), and are now  “transformed, daily, ongoing, degree that by degree, one can be changed into the full image of Jesus” (2 Cor 3:17 ).  It is this ongoing personal spiritual transformation by the Holy Spirit and by the word of God, which makes it possible, empowers also  for us to live non self-centered lives, doing great works in the footsteps of our God, and Elder Brother, Jesus, and so we too can  bear more good fruit, fruit which will last.  St. Paul also teaches about the need for God’s People in every generation also to personally receive,  witness, follow  to this “new born from above life”  (consciously continually changing from a worldly to a holy lifestyle): “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh; for these are opposed to each other, to prevent you from doing what you would… But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control” (Gal. 5:16,22). St. Paul points out that whereas the desires of the flesh “prevent you from doing what you would”, the word of God and indwelling Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit enables the disciples to overcome the flesh and to live unselfish lives, and so bear the good fruit, for God’s glory. (Psa 119:11 KJV)  Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. How does the spirit even accomplish all this in one’s life..  He the holy Spirit still  uses God’s words to us to change us. (Rom 10:17 KJV)  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
 
(John 15:4 KJV)  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

The devil will continually discourage you from following, reading the words of the God in the Bible and he will lead you to false counterfeits to follow instead.
  
THE BIBLE BASIC OF HOW HOW TO OVERCOME TEMPTATION, SATAN, LIVING A HOLY LIFE  IS BY FOLLOWING THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE WORD OF GOD, JESUS, FOR JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD WHO WILL KEEP YOU FROM SIN, AND SIN WILL KEEP YOU AWAY FROM GOD’S WORDS.. LIVING HOLY UNDER BY THE LAW IS DEADLY.. we CANNOT lose our focus on the Cross of Jesus and what it has personally done for us Christians throughout the ages of every place, language and culture have pointed to the cross as the most fundamental point of reference for Christian faith. We are saved, even healed, delivered from all evil as a result. Thus we are to be crucified with Christ’ . Jesus also  call us to forsake everything, to ‘hate one’s own life also’ (Lk.14:26), and   charged us  that he who would save his life must lose it (Mk. 8:35-36) and it includes; 
  1. Our daily ongoing abiding in God’s words, the Bible .  (Mat 13:32 KJV)  Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.  (John 8:31 KJV)  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;(Rom 6:11 KJV)  Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 8:7 KJV)  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.(1 Pet 2:4 KJV)  To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, (Mat 11:28 KJV)  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Secondly,  in our personal lives of prayer: whether in personal prayer or in communitarian prayer,  in a prayer meeting, using a rosary (Mat 26:41 KJV)  Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. For  prayer also  is one of the prime means of experiencing the love of God, the grace of Jesus, and the fellowship of the Spirit. If this experience of the Trinity is real, we will also help us to bear “more” fruit. Through our praise, worship, intercession, thanksgiving and prayer of contemplation, we will deepen our union (as branches) with Jesus the true Vine, and bear fruit that will last.
  3. Also our sharing in the sufferings of Christ. (Mat 7:21 KJV)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  (Mat 16:23 KJV)  But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. (Mat 25:36 KJV)  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. (Mat 25:40 KJV)  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. quoting 2Cor.5:15, “That we might live, no longer for ourselves but for you, He sent the Holy Spirit as his first gift to those who believe, to complete his work on earth, and to bring us the fullness of grace!” and the Spirit who is ever creative, will give us many opportunities DAILY to express our love for needy humanity in our homes, our neighbourhoods, our places of work, our churrches, parishes and the whole world.  Even our Suffering is NOT nonsense, though by reason alone we cannot always understand suffering. By faith in God’s word we know that it is something redemptive and meaningful. As St.Paul puts it, our sufferings “fill up what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ, for the sake of his Body the Church” (Col.1: 24). Every time we die to ourselves, every time we forgive 70×7, every time we choose the values of the Gospel over against the seemingly more attractive and successful values of “the world, the flesh and the devil”, every time we “pick up our cross daily and follow him” we are doing the will of our God, Jesus, our Lord, Saviour and Brother. Thereby we are pushing forward the final victory of Good over Evil and hastening the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus for his own
You must steer clear of the mediocrity and conformism so widespread in our society.(Rom 8:29 KJV)  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. (Rom 12:2 KJV)  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (2 Cor 5:15 KJV)  And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.  (Ephesians 5:18).“And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit”
 
Matthew 7:17-20, “Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.” A healthy oak tree will produce healthy oaks and an unhealthy, sick and dying oak tree will produce unhealthy oaks. Therefore, when we come across a healthy oak, we know the oak tree is healthy. Just as a tree is known by its fruit, so also are we known by our fruit. These qualities do not appear overnight, but will blossom as we continue to live each day in obedience and faith, separating ourselves from sin and moving towards our Lord. God bless!
 
The manifestation of  THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, even tongue speaking  or Salvation evangelism  are not an an acceptable alternative for the spirit of holiness now as well… as too many even Pentecostals falsely believe..

If there is any separation between us and God, the fault lies primarily within us and not with God .. the separation  it is primarily due to our own unrepentant sins, our disobedience to God and his words, out false persistence in doing things our own way, seeking our own mostly self centered, selfish will..
