 Ignorance is no bliss or an excuse.. when you get older, you start to see that there is nothing new under the sun, including sinful human behavior.. I often see you men describing their unrepentant rage, sins against God, and still trying to justify it by saying God does not exist and we are not accountable to him.. but even death alone proves we are accountable for we do  not live forever on earth.

A price to pay

Can  anyone actually achieve personal goals, happiness, fulfillment easily and quickly in this world?
 
Each person still  tends to use a different strategy to find peace, love, security, happiness in this world, even  depending on their environment, circumstances, age, input from others. But what truly now makes one even happy, fulfilled? Does it differ with every person as well? One approach is based  mainly on trying to change one self, adapting oneself to the circumstances one finds onself in. Another major approach is based on trying to change, manipulate others, circumstances, the environment to satisfy one’s desired needs, desires, goals. Some persons also tend to go overboard in their goals, while many others are content just to to follow the crowd as well. There are many people ready and willing to give us suggestions, advice, input as well. But who can you really now still trust as well? It is clearly sadly in this area that many preachers, religious or non relgious leaders mislead many persons, either telling them the lies as to what they want to hear, or just sharing out right lies because they have a hidden or not transparent personal agenda. Is there really an easy way or a heard way only to get what we want in life? Should we even bother to try?
 
Today we all still seem to like to be lied too, pampered, presented also with a fast, easy, free, an erroneous, simplified  Gospel of our personal Salvation from Hell.  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Rom 6:23 NIV] “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” [John 14:6]   Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. [Act 4:12 NIV] Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. [Joh 1:12 NIV] For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. [Joh 3:16 NIV]  That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. [Rom 10:9-10 NIV]  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. [Eph 2:8-10 NIV] 
 
Although although our actual Salvation through the redemptive work of God himself, Jesus Christ, his personal death for us on the Roman cross, is a free gift of God’s grace, it did not and does not come  still cheaply or unconditionally. Our personal salvation  cost Jesus His life, Jesus paid a real negative price for our sins, and, for all  believers, it also still has a major price, cost. Forsaking all, denying to self, and following Jesus alone.  Jesus firstly did not hide the fact that following Him would not be an easy gospel, road without hardships but the alternative of going to Hell means us paying a greater negative price. Jesus clearly said, that those who follow Him would face persecution from others, even from members of their own family as well.   (2 Tim 3:12 KJV)  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. (2 Tim 3:13 KJV)  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
 
(Micah 7:2 KJV)  The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.. 3  That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.  4   The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.. 5  Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.. 6  For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.. 7  Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.. 8  Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.
 
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that — and shudder. [Jam 2:18-19 NIV]  Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — His good, pleasing and perfect will. [Rom 12:1-2 NIV]  So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. [Col 2:6-10 NIV]  If you love Me, you will obey what I command. [Joh 14:15 NIV]
    
 
 Christ’s return will be an occasion of vindication and reward for the faithful: “He will repay everyone for what has been done” (Matthew 16:27).

It seems quite natural for many of us to put our trust in others, we trust our parents, teachers, police, accountants, doctors, priests,. lawyers, realtors lawyers, civil an public servants, politicians   to do their best to look after us , but sadly many of them abuse the trust we have put in them.
 
Jesus himself trusted no one   (John 2:23 KJV)  Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. 24   But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

Living by faith in God

Living still by faith in God only to supply all of our needs is  a requirement of all Christians and not just for  Missionaries  now too.
 
(Psa 118:9 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
(Psa 146:3 KJV)  Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
 
(Psa 146:4 KJV)  His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

And No idols includes one’s pastor,  one’s  denomination, religious  club… Man’s best is too often just more hatred, murder, abuse….  70 percent of today’s pastors are  also crooked cause they are ungodly, unsaved hirelings, wolves in sheep clothing, not called by God pastors trying to make money, a career of the ministry.. this is unacceptable… that is why they too readily do  lie, counsel divorce, slander, abuse others.

 In reality even these days many  Christians SADLY themselves have never studied what  the Bible actually says about these God given, Holy Spirit equipped, gifted men, offices to the Christian Church Universal  by God, so they too are ignorant,  they do not know, they are even confused about the role that they all should play today in Christ’s Church. Because they often wrongfully leave it to others to read the Bible for them too they  thus are too easily deceived by the imposters, cults, sects, wolves in sheep clothing, false teachers, false prophets, false elders too.

Ephesians 4:11, “And he gave some, apostles, and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers

The Greek tense for these offices is continual present, meaning these persons, offices still exist today.  Today the  Restoration of an exact New Testament pattern has not been taken seriously.

All three of these words, “preacher,” “evangelist,” and “pastor,” are used in the New Testament in addition to the words “elders”, “deacons”, “prophets”, “apostles”, ” teachers”.

The  New Testament structure which has been clearly deviated from in many churches today for it is apparent that  the NT Church was always run, administered by the plurality of elders, and the elders were composed of the gifted apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists. Apostle prophet, pastor, evangelist  were also considered as being an elder but it is clear that the Apostles do the main  leading,  followed by the Prophets next and the Pastors next in the local church.

Elders. The term “elder” and “bishop” are used interchangeably of the one officer.   We do find these two names “elder” and “bishop” used in one context in Titus 1:5-7. It is a reasonable suggestion that “elder” is used when referring to the person, and Bishop” when referring to his function of overseeing. In Acts 20:17 and 28 we have the two names again used in the same context. There is no suggestion of two offices. Paul, in greeting the Philippians addresses the saints, bishops, and deacons. (Phil. 1:1)  Bishops are also the same as the term Elders 
 .
Again in the New Testament it is clear that there was a plurality of elders or bishops in each local church. On their first missionary journey Paul and Barnabas appointed elders in every church. (Acts 14:23) Titus was instructed by Paul to appoint elders in every city. (Titus 1:5) What is very clear in the New Testament is the principle of  the oversight of a plurality of elders or bishops. There is no evidence of the oversight of one bishop. The  historians refer to Timothy and Titus as bishops, next using “bishop” to mean only a single overseer,   is a case of applying later terminology to New Testament officers. Neither one is directly called a bishop in the New Testament. They were firstly  both also apostolic representatives, Paul having commissioned Timothy to work at Ephesus and Titus at Crete.  It appears that James had some pre-eminence at Jerusalem, but Acts 15:22, with its emphasis on the whole community, is against any over-lordship. James is not directly called the sole ruling  bishop in the New Testament, and the application of this title to him by some is another case of falsely applying later terminology to an early leader in the Church.

We read that Paul and Barnabas appointed elders in every church, (Acts 14:23) and Titus was instructed by Paul to appoint elders in every city. (Titus 1:5) There is no explicit evidence that elders were elected by the local church, but in view of the principle of responsibility of which we have evidence in the New Testament, it is not likely that elders would have been appointed by Paul and others without the recognition, consent, of most of the church. Since submission is voluntarily, not enforced and is  mutual as well.   The responsibility of the eldership is clearly reflected in the qualifications of the elder which we find in I Tim. 3:1-7 and Titus 1:59

Evangelists were  Plural too.  Stephen and Philip, members of the seven chosen to “serve tables,” served as evangelists. (Acts 7 & 8) Timothy who was commissioned to organize the church at Ephesus is also exhorted to do the work of an evangelist. (I Tim. 4:5)     The total responsibility of the Evangelists  ministry is also an eldership or an overseer one which  was  to evangelize, teach, participate in  pastoral oversight,. An evangelist will also declare the evangelic. All of the Elders can also  teach, oversee, and shepherd. (I Tim. 3:2-4; 5:17, Titus 1:9; I Peter 5:2) Some persons supposedly  will excel and specialize in one some of the functions. One will likely have to prove himself as a deacon before they can next be considered for am elder position.

The word “evangelist” (Greek word “euangelistes”) means one who preaches also the truth, the good news. The “gospel” is the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, and an “evangelist” is one who preaches this good news.  It is interesting that evangelist in the New Testament had also the gift of healing associated with them.(Acts 8:5 KJV)  Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.6  And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7  For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. (Acts 8:13 KJV)  Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

 Evangelist is mentioned only twice in the New Testament  Acts 21:8  . . and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him ( 2 Tim 4:5 KJV)  But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. An evangelist must also preach the word,  and also  publicly reproving, rebuking, and exhorting with all longsuffering and doctrine (2 Tim 4:2 KJV)  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. We do not seem to see Evangelist doing this today?

The word “preacher” is  used three times in the New Testament,. Paul twice referred to himself as a preacher (1 Timothy 2:7; 2 Timothy 1:11). In addition, the Holy Spirit called Noah a preacher of righteousness (2 Peter 2:5). The Greek word from which preacher is translated ( kerux ) literally means a herald (see an example of this in Daniel 3:4 in the LXX, Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament), or a messenger that had authority from kings or other officials to make public proclamations. A preacher is one who publicly proclaims or preaches the truth of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The word “teacher”  is found 4 times in the New testament and teachers is found 9 times and is also associated with women. (John 3:2 KJV)  The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  (Rom 2:20 KJV)  An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.  (1 Tim 2:7 KJV)  Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.  (2 Tim 1:11 KJV)  Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. (Acts 13:1 KJV)  Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.  (1 Cor 12:28 KJV)  And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.  (1 Cor 12:29 KJV)  Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?  (Eph 4:11 KJV)  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  (1 Tim 1:7 KJV)  Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. (2 Tim 4:3 KJV)  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  (Titus 2:3 KJV)  The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; (Heb 5:12 KJV)  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. (2 Pet 2:1 KJV)  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Note Women cannot fully teach in an authoritative role without their husband’s approval but  they can  teach  other women.  .Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence (1 Timothy 2:11,12). (Titus 2:4 KJV)  That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

The word “Deacon” is found 2 times in the New Testament and deacons is found 3 times.(Acts 6:1 KJV)  And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. 3  Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. 4  But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. 5  And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

(1 Tim 3:13 KJV)  For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. (Phil 1:1 KJV)  Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: (1 Tim 3:8 KJV)  Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; (1 Tim 3:12 KJV)  Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

Deacons were men specifically chosen to help the poor and needy persons in the local Christian Church and sadly rarely do they exist today.

GAL 2:10 “All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor ( believers) , the very thing I was eager to do.”

 Deacons were plural and a seperate group that Ministered to, looked after  the poor people in the church.  In general terms a deacon is one who serves, especially one who serves at table. Paul greeted the deacons along with the bishops at Philippi. (Phil. 1:1) The qualifications of a deacon are set down in I Tim. 3:8-13. They are generally regarded as responsible for what may be called the temporalities of the Church, though in fact, they may have a spiritual gifts, spiritual ministry as well.

The word “Pastor”is not found in the New Testament rather it is a plural term, Pastors, and it is found only once in  the New Testament. (Eph 4:11 KJV)  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

The word “Shepherd” is found 13 times in the New testament, it is generally a singular term too, and Jesus himself is the chief Shepherd. (Mat 9:36 KJV)  But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. (Mat 25:32 KJV)  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:  (Mat 26:31 KJV)  Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.  (Mark 6:34 KJV)  And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.  (Mark 14:27 KJV)  And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.  (John 10:2 KJV)  But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.  (John 10:11 KJV)  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. The word “elder” is found 5 times in the New Testament, and elders is mentioned 60 times. (1 Tim 5:1 KJV)  Rebuke not an elder, but entreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; (1 Tim 5:2 KJV)  The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.  (1 Tim 5:19 KJV)  Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.  (1 Pet 5:1 KJV)  The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:  (1 Pet 5:5 KJV)  Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.  (2 John 1:1 KJV)  The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;  (3 John 1:1 KJV)  The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.

The word “Apostle ” is found 19  times in the New Testament, and Aposltes is mentioned 60 times Note this-  An Apostle held various offices too additionally, including  a prophet, teacher, elder. If in comparison to existence of the false prophets  and false apostles will exists, there must also still exists the genuine ones too..(Acts 2:43 KJV)  And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.(Acts 2:42 KJV)  And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

I like the scriptures to firstly speak for themselves, on any topic now as well..

. For a start we know that in the Church of Christ there were more than just the 12 original apostles.. An Apostle is a calling,  who job description is being the senior father of the church, he is generally the, an original church starter, he is the equivalent today of a Missionary, and he or she  tends to have all, note all of the gifts of the Holy spirit. Apostle are generally characterized by the much persecutions and sufferings they bear too.. One generally tends to work one way up in the church and the last administrative position is the Apostle.. the job below the apostle are the prophets who are often found in the company of apostles, and generally below the prophets are the pastors -teachers who take the advice from the Prophets.. many pastor teachers deny the existence of apostles, prophets cause they are in sin and falsely refuse to submit to their authorities.. Some pastors today actually function in the role of an Apostle, but do not use the title.. and the elders are made up of the local pastors teachers, prophets, apostles.. there are women apostles.. such as Junia (Rom 16:7 KJV)  Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me… and women prophetess (by the way Apostle and prophets can be divorcees.. while pastor teachers cannot..) Evangelists is a separate gifted persons to the church, also one of the elders, generally has a healing or miracles gifts,   tend to travel from church to church, city while missionaries tend to be fixed.. Generally in the local Church the apostle is referred to as an elder.. as are the prophets, pastor teachers, evangelists.. Now as to a ruling elder, the church administrator,  the Bishop…an apostle, he tends to be responsible for a specific flock of churches in the geographical area.. he is the the most senior original apostle or his gifted appointee. God selects and equips the church  leaders, the church confirms it..

Jesus was a Prophet, but was now also the first Apostle of the church, he was the Apostle, the Prophet too…

Have you also noticed that trying to discuss spiritual gifts with spiritual  fools tends to end up in fights? why?? Can you next really teach a fool who thinks he or she knows it all anything? no!  (Rom 14:1 KJV)  Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. (Prov 9:9 KJV)  Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

The New Testament office of an Apostle supposedly also had no parallel for sure in the Old Testament and I would agree that a more  valid Biblical definition of an “Apostle is a matured Holy Spirit anointed Christian person who has experienced all the gifts of the Holy Spirit… in other words he the Apostle has also personally had functioned in the role of prophet, pastor, teacher, evangelist, miracle worker, healer, giver, helper.. etc., and that was why they have been given such  importance in their roles now too. Mind you that is a general definition, the original 12 Apostles and Apostle Paul do not fully meet this criteria.

EPHESIANS 2:20 still does reminds us that the church of today as well is “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone”. Note the inclusion of the New Testament prophets with the apostles as the continual. ongoing foundation of the church. “That these prophets are NT prophets cannot be seriously questioned, especially in the light of Eph. 3:5 where the apostles and prophets again are found together as recipients of the revelation of the mystery that the Spirit has “now” made known.” And the gift of prophecy to the church was also to be eagerly sought.

(Eph 4:11 KJV)  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Because many they have also wrongfully neglected the continual Greek verse tense here  in the passage, stating thus God keeps on giving these anointed persons, offices, some persons would wrongfully state that there is clear implications there being only one historic  “foundation” and that once a foundation is laid, it does not need to go on being laid thus pointing to a SUPPOSEDLY temporary nature and cessation of the office of Apostle.or Prophet now as well.

The Christian Church foundational, original organization plan,  while truly first set in Pentecost is actually repeated  daily today as well when we now do build any new church work. In any new local church work the apostles, and  the NT prophets are continually raised up by still by God for them to serve in the founding, foundations  of the new church work. Once this task was, is complete, these offices of apostles and prophet’s were  still needed even next in the administration and expanding the new church work and even by next also building another one, Now how come some people do not want to see this too? “In Eph. 2:20, apostles and prophets are closely linked. They are both important components of the one foundation.  Ephesians would actually indicate that we are dealing with two groups of specifically gifted people. In Eph. 4:11 we are told that Christ “gave some to be apostles, some prophets…” Here both nouns have their own definite article. They are clearly two separate groups.  Let’s also STILL note the important position accorded to New Testament prophets. In Eph. 4:11 they are mentioned second only to apostles. Their importance is also seen in Rom. 12:6-8, where the first gift mentioned is prophecy. Similarly, 1 Cor. 12:28 lists “first apostles, second prophets, third…” ”

(Rev 22:9 KJV)  Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

Like I have said one is not a Christian before one notice the vast difference between fundamental Christians, in particularly between the Pentecostals and the non Pentecostals.. the difference lies also in the aspects, emphasis  of the Holy Spirit, Spiritual Gifts, and the gifted Church members, offices too.,, such as even Apostles, Prophets.. and there are differences even on the issue of eternal security.. While both sides claim to believe the Bible is the word of God, they seem to explain it all very differently… the problem to me it seems is that clearly one group is doing it mostly in their own wisdom, not in God’s, they are not allowing the Holy Spirit to guide,  teach them, but rather the flesh, mere men and the devil.. but next each one says the other group is
.doing this.. the same professing Christian group that has a low emphasis on the Holy Spirit is the one in error.

The Ordination of all of these persons in the Ministry.

      There is clear evidence in the New Testament that when people were called to fulfil certain specific functions in the Church by God even directly they were next still recognized, set apart by fasting, prayer, and the laying on of hands, the Elders, apostles, pastors, teachers evangelist  now included?

And all those who were chosen to “serve tables” as deacons were first specifcally selected by “the whole multitude” and then set before the Apostles who, when they had prayed, laid hands on them. (Acts 6:1-6) When Saul and Barnabas were called of the Holy Spirit to undertake missionary work they were set apart for the work by fasting, prayer, and the laying on of hands. (Acts 13:1-3) During their first missionary journey they established churches, and before they returned they appointed elders in every city. The appointment was made with prayer and fasting.
      The word which is translated “ordained,” indicates the raising of hands, associated with the anointing the person with with oil,  the symbol of the holy spirit.  Thus All deacons  are to be formally and solemnly set apart by the imposition of the hands of the presbytery or eldership of the church. The whole community chooses them–the seniors ordain. This is the apostolic tradition . . . It is immutable?”

The word “boldness” or a synonym is used to describe an Apostles’ conduct and the New testament belivers as well.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John … . ” (4:13). “And they spake the word of God with boldness” (4:31). ” . . . and how he (Paul) had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus” (9:27). “And he (Paul) spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed . . . ” (9:29). “Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God
should first have been spoken to you . . .
” (13:46). “Long time therefore abode they (Paul and Barnabas) speaking boldly in the Lord . . . ” (14:3) “And Paul . . . preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him” (28:30,31). (Acts 4:29 KJV)  And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, 30  By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and  wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus 31  And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? (1 Corinthians 12:29).  No we all have different, unique gifts in the Church as given to us by God.

And now how do these offices in your church compare with the New Testament? or do you still merely believe that what any of the others tell you is the whole truth?

Not one Bible Prophecies Endorses Israel’s present Behavior, land conquests. The nation of Israel was blessed when it obeyed God’s instructions, and it was next cursed when it disobeyed. The context of Jesus’ Olivet Discourse was about the pending desolation of Jerusalem and the Jews, and NOT about even the Gentile end times.

The Sin Of Worshiping The Land Of Israel Instead is Idolatry,  as idolizing and worshiping of Jerusalem, Israel and the Jews is evil in the sight of God.  Especially since Israel today is a shameful nation that has abandoned the sole God of the Bible, Jesus Christ. It  is demonism  that are  inspiring people to idolize Israel and the Jews. You are now  also God, Bible IGNORANT if you do still think that God blesses any Christians who support a wicked, Christ-rejecting people, Nation of Israel. The land of Israel itself and the nation still  has nothing to do with our salvation from death and sin.!  Jesus alone now died, was buried and rose up three days later for our justification.

Firstly any one who looks at the subject of prophecy, a real genuine Bible student knows that too many Jews ,who can only use the old testament, and there is almost no new testament substantiation for it, still the Jews,  and many others have wrongfully now Distorted Biblical Prophecy Interpretation after the time of Jesus Christ to suit their false Jewish’s ends, a Jewish purpose, for they like Judas they betray Jesus Christ by these acts for Jesus next made it clear the second Jewish Kingdom of God was not in this world..  (John 18:36 KJV)  Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

1. The Jews would have their own country
 
Bible passage: Genesis 15:18 (Gen 15:18 KJV)  In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
Fulfilled: 1400 BC  In Genesis 15:18, the Bible said the descendants of Abraham (Abram) would have their own country, between Egypt and the Euphrates. This prophecy has been fulfilled . About 3400 years ago, the Jews first established Israel. Then, about 2900 years ago, Israel divided into two kingdoms, called Judah and Israel. Both kingdoms were later conquered by the Assyrians and Babylonians.
On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates…”
The Jews , Christian who lie that this prophecies was also refullfilled in 1948 need to be remind that they do not have the land from from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: and there was no second promised return made by Jesus or the Apostles

2. Jacob saw a vision of Israel’s future

Written: perhaps 1400 BC Fulfilled: Throughout history In Genesis 28:10-15, the Bible says that Jacob, who lived about 4000 years ago, received a vision from God about the future of his descendants (the Jews). The vision accurately foretold the future of the Jews. Here is our summary of Jacob’s vision: The Jews would have Israel as their own country. This was fulfilled about 3400 years ago when the Jews first established Israel.
The Jews would be scattered worldwide. This was fulfilled when the Jews were forced out of Israel more than 2500 years ago by the Assyrians and Babylonians and again about 1900 years ago by the Romans.
The Jews and the seed, the Arabs, and the Christians would have a worldwide impact. Jews have had a tremendous worldwide impact in science, art, literature, economics, music and theology. The worldwide spread of Christianity began about 2000 years ago by a group of Jews who were followers of Jesus.

3. God will clearly save the Jews, their seeds,  and destroy their enemies

In Jeremiah 30:11, the prophet Jeremiah said the enemies of Israel will be destroyed but that the Jews will never perish. History has many examples of how nations have tried to destroy Israel and the Jews:
In about 721 BC (about 2700 years ago), Assyria destroyed the northern kingdom of Israel. They tortured, killed and exiled many Jews.
In 586 BC (about 2600 years ago), Babylon destroyed the southern kingdom of Judah. They killed and exiled many Jews.
In 70 AD (about 1900 years ago), the Romans killed an estimated 1.1 million Jews and destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple.
In 135 AD, the Romans killed an estimated 580,000 Jews and exiled many others.
In the 1930s and 1940s, the Nazis killed an estimated 6 million Jews. The Nazi plan, called the “final solution,” was to kill all Jews.
Since then, millions of Jews worldwide have returned to their ancient homeland. Today, Israel again is a vibrant, independent country. But, the empires of the Nazis, Romans, Babylonians and Assyrians have vanished. Today, we can judge with our own eyes as to whether Jeremiah was correct when he said, 2600 years ago, that the enemies of the Jews would be destroyed, but that the Jews would be preserved.

4. The Jews and their seeds too,  would continually, always next face many disasters and difficulties

In Deuteronomy 31:16-17, the Bible said that the Jews would face many difficulties if they turned away from God. And, according to the Bible, many people in ancient Israel did at times turn away from God and worship the false gods of pagan Gentiles. This prophecy of persecution has been fulfilled many times. During the past 1900 years in Europe, for example, Jews were often heavily taxed, robbed of their possessions, stripped of their civil rights, forced into ghettos, tortured and slaughtered. Government leaders and church leaders at times banished the Jews from living in Spain, England, France, Belgium and Italy. During the Crusades, Jewish villages were often destroyed and men, women and children were burned alive. Those centuries of persecutions culminated with the Holocaust of the 1930s and 1940s, when the Nazis killed an estimated 6 million Jews. When Israel reclaimed independence in 1948, the surrounding countries invaded and tried to destroy the tiny nation.

7. Israel would be  partitioned by other nations

In Deuteronomy 28:64, the Bible said the Jews would be scattered worldwide. This prophecy has certainly been fulfilled. Take a look at the explanation of the Jewish “Diaspora,” which means “scattering,” from the Columbia Encyclopedia, Fifth Edition: “… by 70 A.D. Jewish communities existed in Babylonia, Syria, Egypt, Cyrene, Asia Minor, Greece, and Rome. Jews followed the Romans into Europe and from Persia and Babylonia spread as far east as China. In modern times, Jews have migrated to the Americas, South Africa, and Australia. The Jewish population of Central and Eastern Europe, until World War II the largest in the world, was decimated in the Holocaust. Despite the creation of the state of Israel in 1948, the vast majority of the Jewish people remain scattered in the Diaspora, notably in North America, Russia, and Ukraine.” This will remain so until the return of Jesus Christ..

Bible passage: Joel 3:2  Written: about 400 BC I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.
(NOTE: “Jehoshaphat” means “the Lord judges.”)

Fulfilled: 1900s In Joel 3:2, the prophet said that the nations of the world will be judged for having scattered the people of Israel and for having “divided up” (or “parted” or “partitioned”) the land of Israel. Christian scholars believe that this is a prophecy that will be further fulfilled during the End Times. But, portions of the prophecy already have been fulfilled. The Jews have been scattered to nations throughout the world, and the nations of the world have divided up the land of Israel.

In addition on November 29, 1947, when the United Nations General Assembly approved a motion to partition the land, which at that time was called “Palestine.” The partition plan divided the land into two separate states, one for Jewish people and another for Arab people. Today, that partitioning is interlocked with many political problems as the Jews seek to reclaim the land promised to them in the Bible (see Genesis 15:18, Genesis 28:10-17 and Genesis 35:9-12), and the Arabs seek to create a homeland for “Palestinians” – Arabs who have lived in that land for many generations.

But God is not against this Palestinian Partition.. (Psa 133:1 KJV)  A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity !2  It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. (Gen 16:12 KJV)  And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.   (Gen 16:10 KJV)  And the angel of the LORD said unto her,( Hagar)  I will multiply thy seed ( Arabs) exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

8. Israel would be restored and repopulated
 
Bible passage:  Ezekiel 36:8-10 “`But you, O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and fruit for my people Israel, for they will soon come home. I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor; you will be plowed and sown, and I will multiply the number of people upon you, even the whole house of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt.
Written: between 593-571 BC

Fulfilled: 2600 years ago  In Ezekiel 36:8-10, the prophet Ezekiel said that the Jews would return, rebuild and repopulate their fallen cities. Ezekiel, according to the Bible, lived about 2600 years ago during the time of the Babylonian Captivity, when many Jews, including Ezekiel, were taken as captives to Babylon. After the Babylonian Captivity ended, many Jews left Babylon and returned to their homeland. There is no New testament Biblical prediction of a second return after their Biblically predicted expulsion from Israel by the Romans though.

9. Jesus’ own life was foreshadowed by the prophet Isaiah

 
Bible passage: Isaiah 42:1-9   “Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations. … In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. … “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. “I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols. See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.”

In Isaiah 42:1-9, the prophet Isaiah speaks of a Jewish servant of God who will be a light to the Gentiles (non-Jews) and bring justice to the world.  Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of this promise. Jesus’ teachings govern the lives of Christians throughout the world. There are an estimated 2 billion Christians worldwide. More people follow the teachings of Jesus than those of any other person in history.

 10. Jesus said His words would never be forgotten
 

Bible passage:  ” Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

Partially Fulfilled: At this very moment In Luke 21:33, Jesus said that regardless of what happens to the world, His words will never be forgotten. Here we are 2000 years later and the words of Jesus are all around us: There are 2 billion Christians worldwide and the Bible is most circulated book in the world. Of all the people who have ever lived, can you think of a single person who could have made this claim more effectively than Jesus – that his words would never be forgotten?

It should be of note, interest to all Bible students, that the Christian Church, the bride of Christ, the final Jew/fish seed, was not mentioned directly in the old testament but only in the new testament. All persons thus, Arab, Jewish, gentile can only go to heaven to be with God, can be saved from their sins thus too, by Jesus Christ alone.

The anointing power of Jesus

To be a Christian is based on the Greek word anointed one, Christos, a person in whom  we can see the anointing of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.. Jesus Christ himself also was baptized with the Holy Spirit, The word “Christ” is a transliteration of the Greek word christos, meaning “the Anointed One.

(Acts 10:38 KJV)  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Now  the anointed one- Greek for Messiah (anointed one) is Christos, Christ in English. Thus, “Jesus Christ” joins a name and a title, and means Jesus the Messiah. Christ, Messiah, Anointed One. The title “Christ” or “Anointed One” Gk. Christos “Cristov” occurs about 350 times in the New Testament..

The word christos means a person HOLY SPIRIT anointed . The Greek name for an individual “Christos” rendered “Christ” in Scripture, the basic of the term Christian now as well, comes from the Greek word “chrio” means to anoint with oil, the symbol of the Holy Spirit,

Luke 4:18-19 (Wey) [Jesus:] “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim Good News to the poor; He has sent me to announce release to the prisoners of war and recovery of sight to the blind: to send away free those whom tyranny has crushed, to proclaim the year of acceptance with the Lord.”But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. . . .

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit–just as it has taught you, remain in him. 1 John 2:20, 27;

The word christos means a person so anointed and the word chrisma refers to that by which a person is anointed. John uses chrisma in these two verses, not speaking of the object being anointed but of the instrument of anointing. Additionally, we find a word christianos in Acts 11:26, which means “one belonging to the Anointed One,” just as Herodianos would mean “one who belongs to Herod.” As the ultimate Prophet, King and Priest, Jesus Christ was anointed when he began his earthly ministry. This anointing was predicted by Isaiah in Isaiah 61:1 when he said that the Spirit of the Lord would come upon the Messiah. In God’s time, when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, we are told the Holy Spirit came upon him when he came up out of the water. In other words, he was anointed by the Holy Spirit, and that without measure.

When Jesus quoted Isaiah 61:1,2 in the synagogue of Nazareth, saying, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,” he was announcing to the people that he was the Messiah prophesied by Isaiah long ago and that the anointing of the Holy Spirit was now resting upon him.

Not only is Jesus Christ anointed, but the Bible tells us that every believer in Jesus Christ is also anointed. We are kings, priests, and prophets under the Priest, Prophet and King, the Lord Jesus Christ. We find references to this in many places. John the Baptist said there was another person coming after him, mightier than himself, who would baptize people in the Holy Spirit and fire.

Jesus himself walked in the  power of the Holy Spirit and he also manifested the gifts of the Holy Spirit by the same Holy Spirit anointing we can now have as well

If was by the Holy Spirit that Jesus discerned what troubled his disciples too.

and how much more do we need to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit too?

This Jerusalem is in your home.. by faith do seek the Lord till ye be filled with the power from on High.

Too often we worship wrongfully still mere man and man wants to be worshipped wrongfully as well

(Mat 10:19 KJV)  But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Mat 3:11 “[John the Baptist said] I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with Holy Ghost fire”.

John 1:33 “[John the Baptist said] And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost”. Jesus said that when you are baptized with the Holy Spirit you would have rivers of living water flow out of you.

John 7:37-39 “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive, for the Holy Ghost was not yet given because that Jesus was not yet glorified”.)

Acts 1:5 “For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence”. When you receive the Baptism of Holy Ghost Fire you will receive power to witness and be a vessel that God’s healing power can flow thru.

Acts 2:1-4 “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, AS THE SPIRIT GAVE THEM utterance”.

Christianity is  walking daily with the Lord Jesus, His Spirit, , and growing with him as well. The fundamental conservatives hard line that there is only one Baptism, and that the  Charismatic gifts are dead or unessential, clearly seems to me just more of their  hard heartedness even to growth, personal development, evidence of  a false religious spirit only that wants God in their own comfortable box still

Acts 19:1-6 And it came to pass, that, while Apollo’s was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, AND PROPHESIED.

I note that some people only talk about the tongues still and not also about the prophecing..Firstly he main objective of the Baptism with the Holy Spirit is not tongues but an empowering to do God’s will, work.. We should not pray for people to get tongues in praying for someone to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Apostles didn’t. We should instead pray for an their Immersion, empowering in in the Spirit to take place You can surely see why the devil wants people distracted here too. And also are prophecy and interpretation and discernment and the word of knowledge and healing and casting out demons also not the manifestations of the Holy Ghost? Jesus said out of your belly (heart) will flow Rivers of Living Water. The River can flow out in many different forms, and not just by the least gift the tongues. Let us seek HIM Jesus and all things He has for us will come. While evidence of love of the brethren, the other believers, is still to me rightfully too the real basic evidence of the Holy Spirit in my life  and in any one else’s life,  all of the  Holy Spirit gifts still have their roles as well. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

Which includes walking in His gifts.

The person receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit will also know when He the Holy Spirit comes upon them.  If we really  are however  letting Jesus have control over what we are doing,  then he will tell us what gifts we need to use as well .. We also do not need to take  isolated scriptures out of context as well for  we do have the Holy Ghost to lead and guide us personally in love as well. And who can argue with that? The Baptism in the Holy Ghost comes with the power to serve God. Tongues are also important to the body, even all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are important but when one is used to give proof even mainly to the exclusion of the others, then that is where the serious error lies. Some people get locked onto a single verse. single gift,  and do not have eyes to see the rest of Holy Writ, not even on Jesus now too.

and having His love we do not reject the Holy Spirit or His gifts

(Jer 17:9 KJV)  The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

GOD KNOWS IT.

(Luke 4:18 KJV)  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

(Prov 22:6 KJV)  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

The Parents, the educational system, media  have a significant effect on the morality of all persons as well.

Some  of God’s  people are even too easily lied too because they themselves and their associates, their parents also,  are still immoral. They too still do walk in lies and in deceits, are in bondage to sin, wrongfully even boast of  their false possessions, false successes . And even because it is obvious as well that they personally really do not know God and that they do wrongfully  refuse to stop being immoral as well. They are encouraged by the devil in all of  this wrong behavior now  too.

(Prov 22:12 KJV)  The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge, and he  overthroweth the words of the transgressor.

(Jer 9:1.2  KJV)  Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!…  that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.

(Jer 9:3 KJV)  And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.

(Jer 9:4 KJV)  Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.

(Jer 9:5 KJV)  And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.

(Jer 9:10 KJV)  For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are  gone.11  And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.

(Jer 9:12 KJV)  Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD hath spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth and is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through?

God personally will not overlook their sins, their pursuit of false values,
lies  too, God he will deal with them as well very appropriately and they likely won’t even still know why too..

(Jer 9:13 KJV)  And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;

(Jer 9:14 KJV)  But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:

If these people understood and really knew God than they would have known that God was a God of real loving kindness, real judgments, and walks in righteousness, truth  as well. and he really does not approve now of their false values, their personal unkindness, lies, deceits, immoral walks.

(Jer 9:23 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he  understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

God will not now, next even spare his supposed people of negative consequences, real judgement  too.

The recent bankruptcies of large major companies such as Nortel, Worldlcom, and the devaluation of their stocks has cause many, many people to lose their monies, savings even because many persons they  have been lied to, they also have put their trust in people, the system,  and in the their pension savings rather than putting all of their trust soley in  God.

(Psa 40:4 KJV)  Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and  respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

(Jer 17:5 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

God and he gives to everyone that is unrepentant sadly  still what they deserve.

The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the  least of these brothers of mine, you did it for me'” (Matthew 25:40, NIV).

“I have read that Queen Mary made a regular visit to Scotland every summer, and how, on “one occasion she was strolling with a group of school children. Suddenly the sky turned gray and thick, and dark clouds appeared. The queen stopped at a nearby house and asked if she might borrow an umbrella. She told the lady of the house, ‘I’ll send it back to you tomorrow.’ The lady was reluctant about lending a good umbrella to a total stranger, but she remembered that she had an old one up in the attic. One rib was broken and there were several ragged holes in it, but she nevertheless turned it over to this lady at her front door with a weak apology.

“The next day there was another knock at the door. This time, when she opened it, a man in gold braid stood with a big envelope in hand. “The queen sent me,” he said, “and asked       me to thank you for the umbrella.” For a moment the woman stood motionless–speechless, but then burst into tears. Finally she cried, “Oh! What an opportunity I missed that  I didn’t give her my best!”

How embarrassing! But how often, I wonder, do I give  Jesus my second best . . . or even my leftovers?

Even God’s people often do, wrongfully give to the  poor people, Christian workers  their junk, their broken,  discarded items.

In younger days . . . much less tactful ones . . . when I was the pastor of a small church, as we didn’t have a janitor, I was cleaning the church. The vacuum cleaner we had was next to useless and I said to myself, “I’ll bet one of the members gave this to the church because it wasn’t  any good to them.”

I reported this thought to the church officers at our next meeting. Oops! Deathly silence. I was right. It was a gift from the chairman of the board and his wife! As I often kid, my comment went over like a pork chop in a synagogue! But we did get a new vacuum cleaner!

Let’s not give Jesus the King of Kings our broken umbrellas, nor our leftovers–whether it’s time, talents, gifts, or money. Let’s give him our first-fruits . . . not our last-fruits.

In the words of the old hymn: “Give of your best to the Master; Give him first place in your heart; give him first place in your  service; Consecrate every part . . . Give him the best that you have.”

Prayer: “Dear God, in thanksgiving for your great love-gift to me and your so-great salvation, grant that I will always have the grace to give you the best that I have to give. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, in Jesus’ name, amen.” ”

(Phil 1:9 KJV)  And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge, and in all judgment;   10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; 11  Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

“fruits of righteousness” is plural and it does not mean solely the fruit of the holy spirit. but it includes the personal good works of righteousness, the fruits of genuine repntaces as well.

– Unless God first tells me otherwise I read my various Bibles anywhere.. and I have been doing this the last 20 years too and God speaks very effectively to me that  way.. the Bible firstly is merely firstly a phone line to heaven.. all you have to do first is to pick it up, use it  and the Holy Spirit will start to speak through it.. if you have a good connection also,  a connection that is not plugged up with personal  pride, unrepentant sins..

– It is always exciting when God speaks to us through his word and next uses it to help others too ehh.. It is still surprising how little many many Christians everywhere know about devotionals,  and why it is not more readily encouraged, because the others do not themselves have good daily Bible devotionals..

Note this we as Christians must live by faith in God.. faith comes by reading, listening to, obeying, following after, holding to, claiming God’s daily words to us personally.. just reading and studying the Bible is not enough.. you must also exercise your faith in God.. and share it with others often too..

TOO MANY PERSONS who themselves are in error still  would everywhere lie, deceive, mislead you into even doing the wrong things, the right, IMPORTANT thing first is to have a proper  relationship with Jesus Christ always, continually..

I HAVE READ a lot of misleading sermons about what we as Christians  should next  be doing… even about God’s love..  Be clear about this..  to love God means to worship him.. worshipping God is what we should do first and last as well.. Really.

It is impossible to live at all daily a Christian Life without the Lord Jesus Christ.. it is possible though to waste a life daily without the Lord Jesus Christ. To walk with God in the Holy Spirit means to walk in the Lord Jesus Christ, to submit fully to the Lord Jesus Christ in all things, all ways.
 
Water always run downhill due to the second law of thermodynamics and so does human nature tend to degenerate as well, seeks to go to the lowest level as well,  into vulgarity, pornography, sensuality, etc., but it does not mean we should allow it to run unbridled, unconstrained as well..
 
It is sad, tragic that Homosexuals, Lesbians, and sexual deviants, fornicators even today do  try to maintain their wrong, false lifestyles  wrongfully try to encourage others to follow after them. do promote their  sinful lifestyle even to minor children and adults..
