Rejoice, young man in your youth;

  christloves
(Eccl 1:9 KJV)  The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

(Eccl 1:10 KJV)  Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

(Eccl 1:13 KJV)  And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.

(Eccl 1:14 KJV)  I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

(Eccl 1:15 KJV)  That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.

(Eccl 1:17 KJV)  And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.

(Eccl 1:18 KJV)  For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

Ignorance is no bliss or an excuse.. when you get older, you start to see that there is nothing new under the sun, including sinful human behavior.. I often see you men describing their unrepentant rage, sins against God, and still trying to justify it by saying God does not exist and we are not accountable to him.. but even death alone proves we are accountable for we do  not live forever on earth.

(Heb 9:27 KJV)  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

(Heb 9:28 KJV)  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

(Eccl 11:9 KJV)  Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. 10 Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

(Eccl 12:1 KJV)  Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; 2   While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:  3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened, 4  And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of music shall be brought low; 5  Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets: 6Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. 7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. 8 Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.

(Eccl 12:12 KJV)  And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

(Eccl 12:13 KJV)  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

(Eccl 12:14 KJV)  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

“What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?”. “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”    Luke 9:62

Can  anyone actually achieve personal goals, happiness, fulfillment easily and quickly in this world?

Each person still  tends to use a different strategy to find peace, love, security, happiness in this world, even  depending on their environment, circumstances, age, input from others. But what truly now makes one even happy, fulfilled? Does it differ with every person as well? One approach is based  mainly on trying to change one self, adapting oneself to the circumstances one finds onself in. Another major approach is based on trying to change, manipulate others, circumstances, the environment to satisfy one’s desired needs, desires, goals. Some persons also tend to go overboard in their goals, while many others are content just to to follow the crowd as well. There are many people ready and willing to give us suggestions, advice, input as well. But who can you really now still trust as well? It is clearly sadly in this area that many preachers, religious or non relgious leaders mislead many persons, either telling them the lies as to what they want to hear, or just sharing out right lies because they have a hidden or not transparent personal agenda. Is there really an easy way or a heard way only to get what we want in life? Should we even bother to try?

Today we all still seem to like to be lied too, pampered, presented also with a fast, easy, free, an erroneous, simplified  Gospel of our personal Salvation from Hell.  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Rom 6:23 NIV] “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” [John 14:6]   Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. [Act 4:12 NIV] Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. [Joh 1:12 NIV] For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. [Joh 3:16 NIV]  That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. [Rom 10:9-10 NIV]  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. [Eph 2:8-10 NIV]

Although although our actual Salvation through the redemptive work of God himself, Jesus Christ, his personal death for us on the Roman cross, is a free gift of God’s grace, it did not and does not come  still cheaply or unconditionally. Our personal salvation  cost Jesus His life, Jesus paid a real negative price for our sins, and, for all  believers, it also still has a major price, cost. Forsaking all, denying to self, and following Jesus alone.  Jesus firstly did not hide the fact that following Him would not be an easy gospel, road without hardships but the alternative of going to Hell means us paying a greater negative price. Jesus clearly said, that those who follow Him would face persecution from others, even from members of their own family as well.   (2 Tim 3:12 KJV)  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. (2 Tim 3:13 KJV)  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

(Micah 7:2 KJV)  The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.. 3  That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.  4   The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.. 5  Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.. 6  For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.. 7  Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.. 8  Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that — and shudder. [Jam 2:18-19 NIV]  Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — His good, pleasing and perfect will. [Rom 12:1-2 NIV]  So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. [Col 2:6-10 NIV]  If you love Me, you will obey what I command. [Joh 14:15 NIV]

Christ’s return will be an occasion of vindication and reward for the faithful: “He will repay everyone for what has been done” (Matthew 16:27).

Beware of men

ourfather

(Mat 10:17 KJV)  But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;

(Mat 15:18 KJV)  But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19  For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

(Gen 3:17 KJV)  And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

(Deu 27:19 KJV)  Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

(Jer 48:10 KJV)  Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.

(Mat 25:41 KJV)  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

(Jer 17:5 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. 6  For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. 7  Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 8   For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10  I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. 11   As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.

(Jer 17:13 KJV)  O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters. 14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

It seems quite natural for many of us to put our trust in others, we trust our parents, teachers, police, accountants, doctors, priests,. lawyers, realtors lawyers, civil an public servants, politicians   to do their best to look after us , but sadly many of them abuse the trust we have put in them.

Jesus himself trusted no one   (John 2:23 KJV)  Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. 24   But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

(Rom 3:23 KJV)  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

(Eccl 7:20 KJV)  For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

(2 Tim 3:1 KJV)  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9  But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

(2 Pet 3:3 KJV)  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

(Mat 10:21 KJV)  And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. 23  But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. 24  The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. 25  It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? 26  Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. 27  What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. 28  And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29  Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30  But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31  Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. 32  Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. 34  Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36  And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. 37  He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38  And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39  He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.  40  He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. 41  He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42  And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

Living by faith in God

jesushand

Living still by faith in God only to supply all of our needs is  a requirement of all Christians and not just for  Missionaries  now too.

(Psa 118:9 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
(Psa 146:3 KJV)  Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

(Psa 146:4 KJV)  His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

(Psa 146:5 KJV)  Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

(Psa 146:6 KJV)  Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

(Psa 146:7 KJV)  Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

(Prov 3:26 KJV)  For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

(Prov 14:26 KJV)  In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

(Jer 17:5 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man,  and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

1 Pet 1:2 KJV)  Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6  Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:8  Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9  Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 10  Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

(Psa 84:11 KJV)  For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

(Psa 119:165 KJV)  Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

(John 14:27 KJV)  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

(Psa 4:8 KJV)  I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

(Psa 119:45 KJV)  And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

(Isa 61:1 KJV)  The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

(Luke 4:18 KJV)  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

(2 Cor 3:17 KJV)  Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

(Gal 2:4 KJV)  And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

(Gal 5:1 KJV)  Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

(Gal 5:13 KJV)  For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

(James 1:25 KJV)  But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

(Psa 16:11 KJV)  Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

(1 Pet 1:8 KJV)  Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9  Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 10 Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 11  Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

(1 Pet 1:13 KJV)  Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14  As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:  15  But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16  Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.  17  And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 18  Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19  But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

God gives to us through his son Jesus Christ real peace, real liberty as well.. plus much more

(Jer 17:6 KJV)  For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not  see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the  wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

(Jer 17:7 KJV)  Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope  the LORD is.

(Prov 25:19 KJV)  Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like  a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.

(Isa 30:15 KJV)  For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall  be your strength: and ye would not.

(Phil 3:3 KJV)  For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

(Heb 3:14 KJV)  For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

(Heb 10:35 KJV)  Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great  recompense of reward.

(1 John 5:14 KJV)  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if  we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

(Isa 66:2 KJV)  For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

(Prov 3:5 KJV)  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto  thine own understanding.

(Mat 6:30 KJV)  Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?(Mat 8:26 KJV)  And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the  sea; and there was a great calm. (Mat 9:2 KJV)  And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.(Mat 9:22 KJV)  But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. (Mat 9:29 KJV)  Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. (Mat 14:28 KJV)  And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on  the water. 29  And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30  But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31  And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? (Mat 16:8 KJV)  Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, (Mat 17:20 KJV)  And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. (Mat 17:21 KJV)  Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. (Mat 21:21 KJV)  Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. (Mat 21:22 KJV)  And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. (Mat 23:23 KJV)  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.(Mark 11:22 KJV)  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. (Luke 17:5 KJV)  And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.(Luke 18:8  KJV)  I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

(Luke 18:9 KJV)  And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:10  Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this  publican. 12  I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. 13  And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14  I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. (Luke 18:25 KJV)  For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

(Luke 12:16 KJV)  And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:17  And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18  And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19  And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20  But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21  So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

(Mat 6:31 KJV)  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34  Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

(Isa 66:2 KJV)  For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

(Luke 18:25 KJV)  For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

The LORD rightfully is my shepherd.. not man… (Lev 19:4 KJV)  Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.(Lev 26:1 KJV)  Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

And No idols includes one’s pastor,  one’s  denomination, religious  club… Man’s best is too often just more hatred, murder, abuse….  70 percent of today’s pastors are  also crooked cause they are ungodly, unsaved hirelings, wolves in sheep clothing, not called by God pastors trying to make money, a career of the ministry.. this is unacceptable… that is why they too readily do  lie, counsel divorce, slander, abuse others.

Deceived by the imposters, cults, sects, wolves in sheep clothing

  jesusshepherd

In reality even these days many  Christians SADLY themselves have never studied what  the Bible actually says about these God given, Holy Spirit equipped, gifted men, offices to the Christian Church Universal  by God, so they too are ignorant,  they do not know, they are even confused about the role that they all should play today in Christ’s Church. Because they often wrongfully leave it to others to read the Bible for them too they  thus are too easily deceived by the imposters, cults, sects, wolves in sheep clothing, false teachers, false prophets, false elders too.
.
(John 8:32 KJV)  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
.
Ephesians 4:11, “And he gave some, apostles, and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers
.
The Greek tense for these offices is continual present, meaning these persons, offices still exist today.  Today the  Restoration of an exact New Testament pattern has not been taken seriously.
 .
All three of these words, “preacher,” “evangelist,” and “pastor,” are used in the New Testament in addition to the words “elders”, “deacons”, “prophets”, “apostles”, ” teachers”.
.
The  New Testament structure which has been clearly deviated from in many churches today for it is apparent that  the NT Church was always run, administered by the plurality of elders, and the elders were composed of the gifted apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists. Apostle prophet, pastor, evangelist  were also considered as being an elder but it is clear that the Apostles do the main  leading,  followed by the Prophets next and the Pastors next in the local church.
 .
Elders. The term “elder” and “bishop” are used interchangeably of the one officer.   We do find these two names “elder” and “bishop” used in one context in Titus 1:5-7. It is a reasonable suggestion that “elder” is used when referring to the person, and Bishop” when referring to his function of overseeing. In Acts 20:17 and 28 we have the two names again used in the same context. There is no suggestion of two offices. Paul, in greeting the Philippians addresses the saints, bishops, and deacons. (Phil. 1:1)  Bishops are also the same as the term Elders
 .
Again in the New Testament it is clear that there was a plurality of elders or bishops in each local church. On their first missionary journey Paul and Barnabas appointed elders in every church. (Acts 14:23) Titus was instructed by Paul to appoint elders in every city. (Titus 1:5) What is very clear in the New Testament is the principle of  the oversight of a plurality of elders or bishops. There is no evidence of the oversight of one bishop. The  historians refer to Timothy and Titus as bishops, next using “bishop” to mean only a single overseer,   is a case of applying later terminology to New Testament officers. Neither one is directly called a bishop in the New Testament. They were firstly  both also apostolic representatives, Paul having commissioned Timothy to work at Ephesus and Titus at Crete.  It appears that James had some pre-eminence at Jerusalem, but Acts 15:22, with its emphasis on the whole community, is against any over-lordship. James is not directly called the sole ruling  bishop in the New Testament, and the application of this title to him by some is another case of falsely applying later terminology to an early leader in the Church.
 .
We read that Paul and Barnabas appointed elders in every church, (Acts 14:23) and Titus was instructed by Paul to appoint elders in every city. (Titus 1:5) There is no explicit evidence that elders were elected by the local church, but in view of the principle of responsibility of which we have evidence in the New Testament, it is not likely that elders would have been appointed by Paul and others without the recognition, consent, of most of the church. Since submission is voluntarily, not enforced and is  mutual as well.   The responsibility of the eldership is clearly reflected in the qualifications of the elder which we find in I Tim. 3:1-7 and Titus 1:59
.
Evangelists were  Plural too.  Stephen and Philip, members of the seven chosen to “serve tables,” served as evangelists. (Acts 7 & 8) Timothy who was commissioned to organize the church at Ephesus is also exhorted to do the work of an evangelist. (I Tim. 4:5)     The total responsibility of the Evangelists  ministry is also an eldership or an overseer one which  was  to evangelize, teach, participate in  pastoral oversight,. An evangelist will also declare the evangelic. All of the Elders can also  teach, oversee, and shepherd. (I Tim. 3:2-4; 5:17, Titus 1:9; I Peter 5:2) Some persons supposedly  will excel and specialize in one some of the functions. One will likely have to prove himself as a deacon before they can next be considered for am elder position.
.
The word “evangelist” (Greek word “euangelistes”) means one who preaches also the truth, the good news. The “gospel” is the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, and an “evangelist” is one who preaches this good news.  It is interesting that evangelist in the New Testament had also the gift of healing associated with them.(Acts 8:5 KJV)  Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.6  And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7  For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. (Acts 8:13 KJV)  Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
 .
Evangelist is mentioned only twice in the New Testament  Acts 21:8  . . and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him ( 2 Tim 4:5 KJV)  But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. An evangelist must also preach the word,  and also  publicly reproving, rebuking, and exhorting with all longsuffering and doctrine (2 Tim 4:2 KJV)  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. We do not seem to see Evangelist doing this today?
 .
The word “preacher” is  used three times in the New Testament,. Paul twice referred to himself as a preacher (1 Timothy 2:7; 2 Timothy 1:11). In addition, the Holy Spirit called Noah a preacher of righteousness (2 Peter 2:5). The Greek word from which preacher is translated ( kerux ) literally means a herald (see an example of this in Daniel 3:4 in the LXX, Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament), or a messenger that had authority from kings or other officials to make public proclamations. A preacher is one who publicly proclaims or preaches the truth of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
 .
The word “teacher”  is found 4 times in the New testament and teachers is found 9 times and is also associated with women. (John 3:2 KJV)  The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  (Rom 2:20 KJV)  An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.  (1 Tim 2:7 KJV)  Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.  (2 Tim 1:11 KJV)  Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. (Acts 13:1 KJV)  Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.  (1 Cor 12:28 KJV)  And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.  (1 Cor 12:29 KJV)  Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?  (Eph 4:11 KJV)  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  (1 Tim 1:7 KJV)  Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. (2 Tim 4:3 KJV)  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  (Titus 2:3 KJV)  The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; (Heb 5:12 KJV)  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. (2 Pet 2:1 KJV)  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
.
Note Women cannot fully teach in an authoritative role without their husband’s approval but  they can  teach  other women.  .Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence (1 Timothy 2:11,12). (Titus 2:4 KJV)  That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
 .
The word “Deacon” is found 2 times in the New Testament and deacons is found 3 times.(Acts 6:1 KJV)  And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. 3  Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. 4  But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. 5  And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
 .
(1 Tim 3:10 KJV)  And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. (1 Tim 3:13 KJV)  For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. (Phil 1:1 KJV)  Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: (1 Tim 3:8 KJV)  Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; (1 Tim 3:12 KJV)  Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
 .
Deacons were men specifically chosen to help the poor and needy persons in the local Christian Church and sadly rarely do they exist today.
 .
GAL 2:10 “All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor ( believers) , the very thing I was eager to do.”
.
Deacons were plural and a seperate group that Ministered to, looked after  the poor people in the church.  In general terms a deacon is one who serves, especially one who serves at table. Paul greeted the deacons along with the bishops at Philippi. (Phil. 1:1) The qualifications of a deacon are set down in I Tim. 3:8-13. They are generally regarded as responsible for what may be called the temporalities of the Church, though in fact, they may have a spiritual gifts, spiritual ministry as well.
.

The word “Pastor”is not found in the New Testament rather it is a plural term, Pastors, and it is found only once in  the New Testament. (Eph 4:11 KJV)  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

.

The word “Shepherd” is found 13 times in the New testament, it is generally a singular term too, and Jesus himself is the chief Shepherd. (Mat 9:36 KJV)  But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. (Mat 25:32 KJV)  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:  (Mat 26:31 KJV)  Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.  (Mark 6:34 KJV)  And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.  (Mark 14:27 KJV)  And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.  (John 10:2 KJV)  But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.  (John 10:11 KJV)  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. (John 10:12 KJV)  But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.  (John 10:14 KJV)  I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. (John 10:16 KJV)  And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.  (Heb 13:20 KJV)  Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,  (1 Pet 2:25 KJV)  For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.  (1 Pet 5:4 KJV)  And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

.

The word “elder” is found 5 times in the New Testament, and elders is mentioned 60 times. (1 Tim 5:1 KJV)  Rebuke not an elder, but entreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; (1 Tim 5:2 KJV)  The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.  (1 Tim 5:19 KJV)  Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.  (1 Pet 5:1 KJV)  The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:  (1 Pet 5:5 KJV)  Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.  (2 John 1:1 KJV)  The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;  (3 John 1:1 KJV)  The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.
.

The word “Apostle ” is found 19  times in the New Testament, and Aposltes is mentioned 60 times Note this-  An Apostle held various offices too additionally, including  a prophet, teacher, elder. (Rom 1:1 KJV)  Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,  (Rom 11:13 KJV)  For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: (1 Cor 1:1 KJV)  Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,  (1 Cor 9:1 KJV)  Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord? (1 Cor 9:2 KJV)  If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.  (1 Cor 15:9 KJV)  For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.  (2 Cor 1:1 KJV)  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia: (2 Cor 12:12 KJV)  Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.  (Gal 1:1 KJV)  Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)(Eph 1:1 KJV)  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: (Col 1:1 KJV)  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother, (1 Tim 1:1 KJV)  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; (1 Tim 2:7 KJV)  Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. (2 Tim 1:1 KJV)  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus, (2 Tim 1:11 KJV)  Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. (Titus 1:1 KJV)  Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; (Heb 3:1 KJV)  Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; (1 Pet 1:1 KJV)  Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,  (2 Pet 1:1 KJV)  Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

 .

If in comparison to existence of the false prophets  and false apostles will exists, there must also still exists the genuine ones too..(Acts 2:43 KJV)  And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.(Acts 2:42 KJV)  And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

.

(Acts 4:33 KJV)  And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

.

(Acts 4:35 KJV)  And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

.

(Acts 5:12 KJV)  And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.

.

(Acts 8:18 KJV)  And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

.

(Acts 13:1 KJV)  Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

.

(Eph 2:20 KJV)  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
.

(Eph 3:5 KJV)  Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

.

(Eph 4:11 KJV)  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

.

I like the scriptures to firstly speak for themselves, on any topic now as well..

. For a start we know that in the Church of Christ there were more than just the 12 original apostles.. An Apostle is a calling,  who job description is being the senior father of the church, he is generally the, an original church starter, he is the equivalent today of a Missionary, and he or she  tends to have all, note all of the gifts of the Holy spirit. Apostle are generally characterized by the much persecutions and sufferings they bear too.. One generally tends to work one way up in the church and the last administrative position is the Apostle.. the job below the apostle are the prophets who are often found in the company of apostles, and generally below the prophets are the pastors -teachers who take the advice from the Prophets.. many pastor teachers deny the existence of apostles, prophets cause they are in sin and falsely refuse to submit to their authorities.. Some pastors today actually function in the role of an Apostle, but do not use the title.. and the elders are made up of the local pastors teachers, prophets, apostles.. there are women apostles.. such as Junia (Rom 16:7 KJV)  Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me… and women prophetess (by the way Apostle and prophets can be divorcees.. while pastor teachers cannot..) Evangelists is a separate gifted persons to the church, also one of the elders, generally has a healing or miracles gifts,   tend to travel from church to church, city while missionaries tend to be fixed.. Generally in the local Church the apostle is referred to as an elder.. as are the prophets, pastor teachers, evangelists.. Now as to a ruling elder, the church administrator,  the Bishop…an apostle, he tends to be responsible for a specific flock of churches in the geographical area.. he is the the most senior original apostle or his gifted appointee. God selects and equips the church  leaders, the church confirms it..

.

(Heb 3:1 KJV)  Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;   (Mat 21:11 KJV)  And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.  (Luke 24:19 KJV)  And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people.  (John 6:14 KJV)  Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
.

Jesus was a Prophet, but was now also the first Apostle of the church, he was the Apostle, the Prophet too…
.

Examples of the fatherly aspects of an apostle..
.

(Gal 4:19 KJV)  My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

(1 John 2:1 KJV)  My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

(1 John 3:18 KJV)  My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

(Mark 10:14 KJV)  But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
.

Secondly apostle Paul clearly WAS NOT one OF THE original 12 OR the 13th apostle..

(1 Cor 1:1 KJV)  Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God  (1 Cor 9:1 KJV)  Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord?

Have you also noticed that trying to discuss spiritual gifts with spiritual  fools tends to end up in fights? why?? Can you next really teach a fool who thinks he or she knows it all anything? no!  (Rom 14:1 KJV)  Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. (Prov 9:9 KJV)  Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
.

The New Testament office of an Apostle supposedly also had no parallel for sure in the Old Testament and I would agree that a more  valid Biblical definition of an “Apostle is a matured Holy Spirit anointed Christian person who has experienced all the gifts of the Holy Spirit… in other words he the Apostle has also personally had functioned in the role of prophet, pastor, teacher, evangelist, miracle worker, healer, giver, helper.. etc., and that was why they have been given such  importance in their roles now too. Mind you that is a general definition, the original 12 Apostles and Apostle Paul do not fully meet this criteria.

.

EPHESIANS 2:20 still does reminds us that the church of today as well is “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone”. Note the inclusion of the New Testament prophets with the apostles as the continual. ongoing foundation of the church. “That these prophets are NT prophets cannot be seriously questioned, especially in the light of Eph. 3:5 where the apostles and prophets again are found together as recipients of the revelation of the mystery that the Spirit has “now” made known.” And the gift of prophecy to the church was also to be eagerly sought.
.

(Eph 4:11 KJV)  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Because many they have also wrongfully neglected the continual Greek verse tense here  in the passage, stating thus God keeps on giving these anointed persons, offices, some persons would wrongfully state that there is clear implications there being only one historic  “foundation” and that once a foundation is laid, it does not need to go on being laid thus pointing to a SUPPOSEDLY temporary nature and cessation of the office of Apostle.or Prophet now as well.
.

The Christian Church foundational, original organization plan,  while truly first set in Pentecost is actually repeated  daily today as well when we now do build any new church work. In any new local church work the apostles, and  the NT prophets are continually raised up by still by God for them to serve in the founding, foundations  of the new church work. Once this task was, is complete, these offices of apostles and prophet’s were  still needed even next in the administration and expanding the new church work and even by next also building another one, Now how come some people do not want to see this too? “In Eph. 2:20, apostles and prophets are closely linked. They are both important components of the one foundation.  Ephesians would actually indicate that we are dealing with two groups of specifically gifted people. In Eph. 4:11 we are told that Christ “gave some to be apostles, some prophets…” Here both nouns have their own definite article. They are clearly two separate groups.  Let’s also STILL note the important position accorded to New Testament prophets. In Eph. 4:11 they are mentioned second only to apostles. Their importance is also seen in Rom. 12:6-8, where the first gift mentioned is prophecy. Similarly, 1 Cor. 12:28 lists “first apostles, second prophets, third…” ”
.

(Rev 22:6 KJV)  And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

(Rev 22:9 KJV)  Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
.

Like I have said one is not a Christian before one notice the vast difference between fundamental Christians, in particularly between the Pentecostals and the non Pentecostals.. the difference lies also in the aspects, emphasis  of the Holy Spirit, Spiritual Gifts, and the gifted Church members, offices too.,, such as even Apostles, Prophets.. and there are differences even on the issue of eternal security.. While both sides claim to believe the Bible is the word of God, they seem to explain it all very differently… the problem to me it seems is that clearly one group is doing it mostly in their own wisdom, not in God’s, they are not allowing the Holy Spirit to guide,  teach them, but rather the flesh, mere men and the devil.. but next each one says the other group is
.doing this.. the same professing Christian group that has a low emphasis on the Holy Spirit is the one in error.

The Ordination of all of these persons in the Ministry.

There is clear evidence in the New Testament that when people were called to fulfil certain specific functions in the Church by God even directly they were next still recognized, set apart by fasting, prayer, and the laying on of hands, the Elders, apostles, pastors, teachers evangelist  now included?
.
And all those who were chosen to “serve tables” as deacons were first specifcally selected by “the whole multitude” and then set before the Apostles who, when they had prayed, laid hands on them. (Acts 6:1-6) When Saul and Barnabas were called of the Holy Spirit to undertake missionary work they were set apart for the work by fasting, prayer, and the laying on of hands. (Acts 13:1-3) During their first missionary journey they established churches, and before they returned they appointed elders in every city. The appointment was made with prayer and fasting.
The word which is translated “ordained,” indicates the raising of hands, associated with the anointing the person with with oil,  the symbol of the holy spirit.  Thus All deacons  are to be formally and solemnly set apart by the imposition of the hands of the presbytery or eldership of the church. The whole community chooses them–the seniors ordain. This is the apostolic tradition . . . It is immutable?”
.

The word “boldness” or a synonym is used to describe an Apostles’ conduct and the New testament belivers as well.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John … . ” (4:13). “And they spake the word of God with boldness” (4:31). ” . . . and how he (Paul) had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus” (9:27). “And he (Paul) spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed . . . ” (9:29). “Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God
should first have been spoken to you . . .
” (13:46). “Long time therefore abode they (Paul and Barnabas) speaking boldly in the Lord . . . ” (14:3) “And Paul . . . preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him” (28:30,31). (Acts 4:29 KJV)  And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, 30  By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and  wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus 31  And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

.

Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? (1 Corinthians 12:29).  No we all have different, unique gifts in the Church as given to us by God.

.

And now how do these offices in your church compare with the New Testament? or do you still merely believe that what any of the others tell you is the whole truth?

.

(Luke 11:49 KJV)  Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
.
(Mat 10:2 KJV)  Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
.

(Mat 11:13 KJV)  For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

.

( Note Jesus the Apostle and the other Apostles expanded, clarified  next  the old testament teachings.. and all of the new testament books were written solely by an Apostle.)
.
(Mat 23:34 KJV)  Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
.

(Mat 7:15 KJV)  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

.

(Mat 24:24 KJV)  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Biblical Prophecies regarding the Jews

withjesus

Ten Old testament Biblical Prophecies for certainty Fulfilled Today regarding the Jews

There will still come another antichrist still  that will kick the Jews out of Israel,  disperse them   as well, and persecute them again

.

(Luke 12:53 KJV)  The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

.

Of all the words of Jesus recorded in the Bible, about twenty-five percent of his teaching was devoted to prophecy concerning the destruction of Jerusalem, the scattering of the Jewish people worldwide, and the end of the world. Instead of listening to the lies of mere men and demons do read Jesus’ words in their entirety, in the Bible itself firstly. Not one Bible Prophecies Endorses Israel’s present Behavior, land conquests. The nation of Israel was blessed when it obeyed God’s instructions, and it was next cursed when it disobeyed. The context of Jesus’ Olivet Discourse was about the pending desolation of Jerusalem and the Jews, and NOT about even the Gentile end times.
.
The Sin Of Worshiping The Land Of Israel Instead is Idolatry,  as idolizing and worshiping of Jerusalem, Israel and the Jews is evil in the sight of God.  Especially since Israel today is a shameful nation that has abandoned the sole God of the Bible, Jesus Christ. It  is demonism  that are  inspiring people to idolize Israel and the Jews. You are now  also God, Bible IGNORANT if you do still think that God blesses any Christians who support a wicked, Christ-rejecting people, Nation of Israel. The land of Israel itself and the nation still  has nothing to do with our salvation from death and sin.!  Jesus alone now died, was buried and rose up three days later for our justification.
.
Firstly any one who looks at the subject of prophecy, a real genuine Bible student knows that too many Jews ,who can only use the old testament, and there is almost no new testament substantiation for it, still the Jews,  and many others have wrongfully now Distorted Biblical Prophecy Interpretation after the time of Jesus Christ to suit their false Jewish’s ends, a Jewish purpose, for they like Judas they betray Jesus Christ by these acts for Jesus next made it clear the second Jewish Kingdom of God was not in this world..  (John 18:36 KJV)  Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
.

These 10 Bible prophecies fulfilled at least, there are more too, though had said that Israel would become a country, that it would be destroyed, that the Jews would be scattered worldwide and persecuted, that the Jews would have a worldwide impact, and that they would next return to  these prophecies were  fulfilled in the old Testament times

 .
1. The Jews would have their own country

Bible passage: Genesis 15:18 (Gen 15:18 KJV)  In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
Fulfilled: 1400 BC  In Genesis 15:18, the Bible said the descendants of Abraham (Abram) would have their own country, between Egypt and the Euphrates. This prophecy has been fulfilled . About 3400 years ago, the Jews first established Israel. Then, about 2900 years ago, Israel divided into two kingdoms, called Judah and Israel. Both kingdoms were later conquered by the Assyrians and Babylonians.
On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates…”
The Jews , Christian who lie that this prophecies was also refullfilled in 1948 need to be remind that they do not have the land from from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: and there was no second promised return made by Jesus or the Apostles
 .
2. Jacob saw a vision of Israel’s future

Bible passage: (Gen 28:10 KJV)  And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.  11  And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. 12  And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.13  And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; 14   And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. 15   And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

.

Written: perhaps 1400 BC Fulfilled: Throughout history In Genesis 28:10-15, the Bible says that Jacob, who lived about 4000 years ago, received a vision from God about the future of his descendants (the Jews). The vision accurately foretold the future of the Jews. Here is our summary of Jacob’s vision: The Jews would have Israel as their own country. This was fulfilled about 3400 years ago when the Jews first established Israel.
The Jews would be scattered worldwide. This was fulfilled when the Jews were forced out of Israel more than 2500 years ago by the Assyrians and Babylonians and again about 1900 years ago by the Romans.
The Jews and the seed, the Arabs, and the Christians would have a worldwide impact. Jews have had a tremendous worldwide impact in science, art, literature, economics, music and theology. The worldwide spread of Christianity began about 2000 years ago by a group of Jews who were followers of Jesus.
Here is Genesis 28:10-15 Jacob … had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. There above it stood the Lord, and he said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring. I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”
 .
3. God will clearly save the Jews, their seeds,  and destroy their enemies

Bible passage: Jeremiah 30:11 I am with you and will save you,’ declares the Lord. `Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only with justice; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.’ Written: sometime from 626 to about 586 BC
Fulfilled: Throughout history
In Jeremiah 30:11, the prophet Jeremiah said the enemies of Israel will be destroyed but that the Jews will never perish. History has many examples of how nations have tried to destroy Israel and the Jews:
In about 721 BC (about 2700 years ago), Assyria destroyed the northern kingdom of Israel. They tortured, killed and exiled many Jews.
In 586 BC (about 2600 years ago), Babylon destroyed the southern kingdom of Judah. They killed and exiled many Jews.
In 70 AD (about 1900 years ago), the Romans killed an estimated 1.1 million Jews and destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple.
In 135 AD, the Romans killed an estimated 580,000 Jews and exiled many others.
In the 1930s and 1940s, the Nazis killed an estimated 6 million Jews. The Nazi plan, called the “final solution,” was to kill all Jews.
Since then, millions of Jews worldwide have returned to their ancient homeland. Today, Israel again is a vibrant, independent country. But, the empires of the Nazis, Romans, Babylonians and Assyrians have vanished. Today, we can judge with our own eyes as to whether Jeremiah was correct when he said, 2600 years ago, that the enemies of the Jews would be destroyed, but that the Jews would be preserved.
 .
4. The Jews and their seeds too,  would continually, always next face many disasters and difficulties

Bible passage: (Deu 31:16 KJV)  And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. 17    Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?
Written: perhaps 1400 BC Fulfilled: Throughout history
In Deuteronomy 31:16-17, the Bible said that the Jews would face many difficulties if they turned away from God. And, according to the Bible, many people in ancient Israel did at times turn away from God and worship the false gods of pagan Gentiles. This prophecy of persecution has been fulfilled many times. During the past 1900 years in Europe, for example, Jews were often heavily taxed, robbed of their possessions, stripped of their civil rights, forced into ghettos, tortured and slaughtered. Government leaders and church leaders at times banished the Jews from living in Spain, England, France, Belgium and Italy. During the Crusades, Jewish villages were often destroyed and men, women and children were burned alive. Those centuries of persecutions culminated with the Holocaust of the 1930s and 1940s, when the Nazis killed an estimated 6 million Jews. When Israel reclaimed independence in 1948, the surrounding countries invaded and tried to destroy the tiny nation.
 .
5. The Jews would be scattered worldwide

Bible passage: Deuteronomy 28:64 Then the Lord will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other gods–gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known.
Bible passage: Genesis 12:2-3  Written: perhaps 1400 BC “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
Fulfilled: Throughout history In Genesis 12:2-3, and in Genesis 28:10-15, the Bible said that the descendants of Abraham and the descendants of Abraham’s grandson, Jacob, would be a blessing for people worldwide. Jacob is the father of the 12 Tribes of Israel (the Jews)but also is the same  father of the Arabs and the Christians too..
 .
 6. The Jews , their seeds included, would have a worldwide impact

Bible passage: Genesis 12:2-3 “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”Written: perhaps 1400 BC

Fulfilled: Throughout history In Genesis 12:2-3, and in Genesis 28:10-15, the Bible said that the descendants of Abraham and the descendants of Abraham’s grandson, Jacob, would be a blessing for people worldwide. Jacob is the father of the 12 Tribes of Israel (the Jews), the Arabs, and the Christians too

.

7. Israel would be  partitioned by other nations

Written: perhaps 1400 BC  Fulfilled: 721 BC, 586 BC, 70 AD, 135 AD
In Deuteronomy 28:64, the Bible said the Jews would be scattered worldwide. This prophecy has certainly been fulfilled. Take a look at the explanation of the Jewish “Diaspora,” which means “scattering,” from the Columbia Encyclopedia, Fifth Edition: “… by 70 A.D. Jewish communities existed in Babylonia, Syria, Egypt, Cyrene, Asia Minor, Greece, and Rome. Jews followed the Romans into Europe and from Persia and Babylonia spread as far east as China. In modern times, Jews have migrated to the Americas, South Africa, and Australia. The Jewish population of Central and Eastern Europe, until World War II the largest in the world, was decimated in the Holocaust. Despite the creation of the state of Israel in 1948, the vast majority of the Jewish people remain scattered in the Diaspora, notably in North America, Russia, and Ukraine.” This will remain so until the return of Jesus Christ..

Bible passage: Joel 3:2  Written: about 400 BC I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.
(NOTE: “Jehoshaphat” means “the Lord judges.”)

Fulfilled: 1900s In Joel 3:2, the prophet said that the nations of the world will be judged for having scattered the people of Israel and for having “divided up” (or “parted” or “partitioned”) the land of Israel. Christian scholars believe that this is a prophecy that will be further fulfilled during the End Times. But, portions of the prophecy already have been fulfilled. The Jews have been scattered to nations throughout the world, and the nations of the world have divided up the land of Israel.

In addition on November 29, 1947, when the United Nations General Assembly approved a motion to partition the land, which at that time was called “Palestine.” The partition plan divided the land into two separate states, one for Jewish people and another for Arab people. Today, that partitioning is interlocked with many political problems as the Jews seek to reclaim the land promised to them in the Bible (see Genesis 15:18, Genesis 28:10-17 and Genesis 35:9-12), and the Arabs seek to create a homeland for “Palestinians” – Arabs who have lived in that land for many generations.

But God is not against this Palestinian Partition.. (Psa 133:1 KJV)  A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity !2  It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. (Gen 16:12 KJV)  And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.   (Gen 16:10 KJV)  And the angel of the LORD said unto her,( Hagar)  I will multiply thy seed ( Arabs) exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

8. Israel would be restored and repopulated

Bible passage:  Ezekiel 36:8-10 “`But you, O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and fruit for my people Israel, for they will soon come home. I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor; you will be plowed and sown, and I will multiply the number of people upon you, even the whole house of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt.
Written: between 593-571 BC

Fulfilled: 2600 years ago  In Ezekiel 36:8-10, the prophet Ezekiel said that the Jews would return, rebuild and repopulate their fallen cities. Ezekiel, according to the Bible, lived about 2600 years ago during the time of the Babylonian Captivity, when many Jews, including Ezekiel, were taken as captives to Babylon. After the Babylonian Captivity ended, many Jews left Babylon and returned to their homeland. There is no New testament Biblical prediction of a second return after their Biblically predicted expulsion from Israel by the Romans though.

.

9. Jesus’ own life was foreshadowed by the prophet Isaiah

Bible passage: Isaiah 42:1-9   “Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations. … In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. … “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. “I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols. See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.”
Written: perhaps between 701-681 BC  Fulfilled: About 2000 years ago
In Isaiah 42:1-9, the prophet Isaiah speaks of a Jewish servant of God who will be a light to the Gentiles (non-Jews) and bring justice to the world.  Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of this promise. Jesus’ teachings govern the lives of Christians throughout the world. There are an estimated 2 billion Christians worldwide. More people follow the teachings of Jesus than those of any other person in history.
.
 10. Jesus said His words would never be forgotten

Bible passage:  ” Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

Luke 21:335  And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6  As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7  And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
8  And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
9  But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10  Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11  And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12  But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.
13  And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14  Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15  For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16  And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.
18  But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19  In your patience possess ye your souls.
20  And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21  Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22  For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23  But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24  And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26  Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29  And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30  When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31  So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34  And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35  For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Written: about 30 AD

Partially Fulfilled: At this very moment In Luke 21:33, Jesus said that regardless of what happens to the world, His words will never be forgotten. Here we are 2000 years later and the words of Jesus are all around us: There are 2 billion Christians worldwide and the Bible is most circulated book in the world. Of all the people who have ever lived, can you think of a single person who could have made this claim more effectively than Jesus – that his words would never be forgotten?

.

Now read the whole Bible, the New testament included,  for yourself, do not even believe what others do say now the Bible says, for many have false, hidden agendas and do twist the truths now, Jews and false Christians included.

.

It should be of note, interest to all Bible students, that the Christian Church, the bride of Christ, the final Jew/fish seed, was not mentioned directly in the old testament but only in the new testament. All persons thus, Arab, Jewish, gentile can only go to heaven to be with God, can be saved from their sins thus too, by Jesus Christ alone.
 .

The anointing power of Jesus

hs

To be a Christian is based on the Greek word anointed one, Christos, a person in whom  we can see the anointing of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.. Jesus Christ himself also was baptized with the Holy Spirit, The word “Christ” is a transliteration of the Greek word christos, meaning “the Anointed One.

.

(Acts 10:38 KJV)  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Now  the anointed one- Greek for Messiah (anointed one) is Christos, Christ in English. Thus, “Jesus Christ” joins a name and a title, and means Jesus the Messiah. Christ, Messiah, Anointed One. The title “Christ” or “Anointed One” Gk. Christos “Cristov” occurs about 350 times in the New Testament..

.

The word christos means a person HOLY SPIRIT anointed . The Greek name for an individual “Christos” rendered “Christ” in Scripture, the basic of the term Christian now as well, comes from the Greek word “chrio” means to anoint with oil, the symbol of the Holy Spirit,

.

Luke 4:18-19 (Wey) [Jesus:] “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim Good News to the poor; He has sent me to announce release to the prisoners of war and recovery of sight to the blind: to send away free those whom tyranny has crushed, to proclaim the year of acceptance with the Lord.”But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. . . .

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit–just as it has taught you, remain in him. 1 John 2:20, 27;

.

The word christos means a person so anointed and the word chrisma refers to that by which a person is anointed. John uses chrisma in these two verses, not speaking of the object being anointed but of the instrument of anointing. Additionally, we find a word christianos in Acts 11:26, which means “one belonging to the Anointed One,” just as Herodianos would mean “one who belongs to Herod.” As the ultimate Prophet, King and Priest, Jesus Christ was anointed when he began his earthly ministry. This anointing was predicted by Isaiah in Isaiah 61:1 when he said that the Spirit of the Lord would come upon the Messiah. In God’s time, when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, we are told the Holy Spirit came upon him when he came up out of the water. In other words, he was anointed by the Holy Spirit, and that without measure.

.

When Jesus quoted Isaiah 61:1,2 in the synagogue of Nazareth, saying, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,” he was announcing to the people that he was the Messiah prophesied by Isaiah long ago and that the anointing of the Holy Spirit was now resting upon him.

.

Not only is Jesus Christ anointed, but the Bible tells us that every believer in Jesus Christ is also anointed. We are kings, priests, and prophets under the Priest, Prophet and King, the Lord Jesus Christ. We find references to this in many places. John the Baptist said there was another person coming after him, mightier than himself, who would baptize people in the Holy Spirit and fire.

.

Jesus himself walked in the  power of the Holy Spirit and he also manifested the gifts of the Holy Spirit by the same Holy Spirit anointing we can now have as well

(Acts 10:38 KJV)  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

(Luke 4:1 KJV)  And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan,

(Luke 4:14 KJV)  And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

(John 3:5 KJV)  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a
man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

If was by the Holy Spirit that Jesus discerned what troubled his disciples too.

(Mark 2:8 KJV)  And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?

If was by the Holy Spirit that Jesus even knew who it was that would betray
him

(John 13:21 KJV)  When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

and how much more do we need to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit too?

(Luke 24:49 KJV)  And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

This Jerusalem is in your home.. by faith do seek the Lord till ye be filled with the power from on High.

(Mat 22:29 KJV)  Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

(Mark 9:1 KJV)  And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

(Mat 10:1 KJV)  And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

(Mark 3:15 KJV)  And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

(Luke 4:32 KJV)  And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

(Luke 4:36 KJV)  And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

(Luke 5:17 KJV)  And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

(Luke 10:19 KJV)  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

(Luke 12:5 KJV)  But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

(Acts 1:8 KJV)  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

(Acts 3:12 KJV)  And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

(Acts 4:33 KJV)  And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

(Acts 6:8 KJV)  And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

(Acts 26:18 KJV)  To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

(Rom 15:13 KJV)  Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

(Rom 15:19 KJV)  Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

(1 Cor 2:4 KJV)  And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

(1 Cor 2:5 KJV)  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

(1 Cor 4:19 KJV)  But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.

(2 Cor 4:7 KJV)  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the
excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

(Eph 3:7 KJV)  Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

(Eph 3:20 KJV)  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

(Eph 6:10 KJV)  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

(Col 1:13 KJV)  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

(1 Th 1:5 KJV)  For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

Too often we worship wrongfully still mere man and man wants to be worshipped wrongfully as well

(Rev 19:10 KJV)  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

(Mat 10:19 KJV)  But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Mat 3:11 “[John the Baptist said] I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with Holy Ghost fire”.

John 1:33 “[John the Baptist said] And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost”. Jesus said that when you are baptized with the Holy Spirit you would have rivers of living water flow out of you.

John 7:37-39 “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive, for the Holy Ghost was not yet given because that Jesus was not yet glorified”.)

Acts 1:5 “For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence”. When you receive the Baptism of Holy Ghost Fire you will receive power to witness and be a vessel that God’s healing power can flow thru.

Acts 2:1-4 “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, AS THE SPIRIT GAVE THEM utterance”.

Christianity is  walking daily with the Lord Jesus, His Spirit, , and growing with him as well. The fundamental conservatives hard line that there is only one Baptism, and that the  Charismatic gifts are dead or unessential, clearly seems to me just more of their  hard heartedness even to growth, personal development, evidence of  a false religious spirit only that wants God in their own comfortable box still

Acts 19:1-6 And it came to pass, that, while Apollo’s was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, AND PROPHESIED.

I note that some people only talk about the tongues still and not also about the prophecing..Firstly he main objective of the Baptism with the Holy Spirit is not tongues but an empowering to do God’s will, work.. We should not pray for people to get tongues in praying for someone to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Apostles didn’t. We should instead pray for an their Immersion, empowering in in the Spirit to take place You can surely see why the devil wants people distracted here too. And also are prophecy and interpretation and discernment and the word of knowledge and healing and casting out demons also not the manifestations of the Holy Ghost? Jesus said out of your belly (heart) will flow Rivers of Living Water. The River can flow out in many different forms, and not just by the least gift the tongues. Let us seek HIM Jesus and all things He has for us will come. While evidence of love of the brethren, the other believers, is still to me rightfully too the real basic evidence of the Holy Spirit in my life  and in any one else’s life,  all of the  Holy Spirit gifts still have their roles as well. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

Which includes walking in His gifts.

The person receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit will also know when He the Holy Spirit comes upon them.  If we really  are however  letting Jesus have control over what we are doing,  then he will tell us what gifts we need to use as well .. We also do not need to take  isolated scriptures out of context as well for  we do have the Holy Ghost to lead and guide us personally in love as well. And who can argue with that? The Baptism in the Holy Ghost comes with the power to serve God. Tongues are also important to the body, even all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are important but when one is used to give proof even mainly to the exclusion of the others, then that is where the serious error lies. Some people get locked onto a single verse. single gift,  and do not have eyes to see the rest of Holy Writ, not even on Jesus now too.

and having His love we do not reject the Holy Spirit or His gifts

(Jer 17:9 KJV)  The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

GOD KNOWS IT.

(Prov 22:6 KJV)  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

The Parents, the educational system, media  have a significant effect on the morality of all persons as well.

Some  of God’s  people are even too easily lied too because they themselves and their associates, their parents also,  are still immoral. They too still do walk in lies and in deceits, are in bondage to sin, wrongfully even boast of  their false possessions, false successes . And even because it is obvious as well that they personally really do not know God and that they do wrongfully  refuse to stop being immoral as well. They are encouraged by the devil in all of  this wrong behavior now  too.

(Prov 22:12 KJV)  The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge, and he  overthroweth the words of the transgressor.

(Jer 9:1.2  KJV)  Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!…  that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.

(Jer 9:3 KJV)  And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.

(Jer 9:4 KJV)  Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.

(Jer 9:5 KJV)  And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.

(Jer 9:6 KJV)  Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.

(Jer 9:8 KJV)  Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one  speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth  his wait.

(Jer 9:9 KJV)  Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

(Jer 9:10 KJV)  For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are  gone.11  And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.

(Jer 9:12 KJV)  Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD hath spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth and is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through?

God personally will not overlook their sins, their pursuit of false values,
lies  too, God he will deal with them as well very appropriately and they likely won’t even still know why too..

(Jer 9:13 KJV)  And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;

(Jer 9:14 KJV)  But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:

(Jer 9:15 KJV)  Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

(Jer 9:16 KJV)  I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.

(Jer 9:17 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come:

(Jer 9:18 KJV)  And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.

(Jer 9:19 KJV)  For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.

If these people understood and really knew God than they would have known that God was a God of real loving kindness, real judgments, and walks in righteousness, truth  as well. and he really does not approve now of their false values, their personal unkindness, lies, deceits, immoral walks.

(Jer 9:23 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he  understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

God will not now, next even spare his supposed people of negative consequences, real judgement  too.

(Jer 9:25 KJV)  Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised;
First (Mat 3:8 KJV)  Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

Fruits is plural also ..

(1 John 5:13 KJV)  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

The recent bankruptcies of large major companies such as Nortel, Worldlcom, and the devaluation of their stocks has cause many, many people to lose their monies, savings even because many persons they  have been lied to, they also have put their trust in people, the system,  and in the their pension savings rather than putting all of their trust soley in  God.

(Psa 40:4 KJV)  Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and  respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

(Jer 17:5 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

(Jer 17:7 KJV)  Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

(Jer 17:8 KJV)  For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

(Prov 3:26 KJV)  For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

(Jer 17:9 KJV)  The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

God and he gives to everyone that is unrepentant sadly  still what they deserve.

The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the  least of these brothers of mine, you did it for me'” (Matthew 25:40, NIV).

“I have read that Queen Mary made a regular visit to Scotland every summer, and how, on “one occasion she was strolling with a group of school children. Suddenly the sky turned gray and thick, and dark clouds appeared. The queen stopped at a nearby house and asked if she might borrow an umbrella. She told the lady of the house, ‘I’ll send it back to you tomorrow.’ The lady was reluctant about lending a good umbrella to a total stranger, but she remembered that she had an old one up in the attic. One rib was broken and there were several ragged holes in it, but she nevertheless turned it over to this lady at her front door with a weak apology.

“The next day there was another knock at the door. This time, when she opened it, a man in gold braid stood with a big envelope in hand. “The queen sent me,” he said, “and asked       me to thank you for the umbrella.” For a moment the woman stood motionless–speechless, but then burst into tears. Finally she cried, “Oh! What an opportunity I missed that  I didn’t give her my best!”

How embarrassing! But how often, I wonder, do I give  Jesus my second best . . . or even my leftovers?

Even God’s people often do, wrongfully give to the  poor people, Christian workers  their junk, their broken,  discarded items.

In younger days . . . much less tactful ones . . . when I was the pastor of a small church, as we didn’t have a janitor, I was cleaning the church. The vacuum cleaner we had was next to useless and I said to myself, “I’ll bet one of the members gave this to the church because it wasn’t  any good to them.”

I reported this thought to the church officers at our next meeting. Oops! Deathly silence. I was right. It was a gift from the chairman of the board and his wife! As I often kid, my comment went over like a pork chop in a synagogue! But we did get a new vacuum cleaner!

Let’s not give Jesus the King of Kings our broken umbrellas, nor our leftovers–whether it’s time, talents, gifts, or money. Let’s give him our first-fruits . . . not our last-fruits.

In the words of the old hymn: “Give of your best to the Master; Give him first place in your heart; give him first place in your  service; Consecrate every part . . . Give him the best that you have.”

Prayer: “Dear God, in thanksgiving for your great love-gift to me and your so-great salvation, grant that I will always have the grace to give you the best that I have to give. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, in Jesus’ name, amen.” ”

(Phil 1:9 KJV)  And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge, and in all judgment;   10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; 11  Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

“fruits of righteousness” is plural and it does not mean solely the fruit of the holy spirit. but it includes the personal good works of righteousness, the fruits of genuine repntaces as well.

(Mat 3:8 KJV)  Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
